Krystal's POVI felt my pillow move. Then it moved again. I mumbled, opening my eyes. Bright blurry light blinded me for a second, then returned to normal. My pillow turned our to be a shoulder! I felt something move on my head. Oh my god, Jason is sleeping on me! His head laid on mine, his hand was on top of mine! His snoring made my heart pound. He looks adorable when he's asleep!
Someone was going down stairs, then gasped. "Jason and Krystal sitting in a tree. K I S S I N G." I heard Jerome's voice. Carefully, I moved Jason's head without waking him up, and got up. "Thanks Jerome, that's helpful." He gave me a smile. "That's what big brothers do right?" He walked off into the kitchen, then open the fridge. I stretched, heading upstairs to change into some shirt and jeans.
The smell of eggs and bacon drifted into my room. Breakfast! I rushed downstairs, to see Mitch hugging Jerome from behind. "Awww Mitch and Jerome sitting in a tree. K I S S I N G." I said jokingly. Mitch turned around, smiling, then kissed Jerome on the cheek. "I would love to sit in a tree. See where that takes us." He laid his head on Jerome's shoulder as he cooked. "You two get a room." I heard Ty grumble from behind. "Morning Ty." He stumbled to a chair, then mumbled "Good morning."
"Boo!" A voice startled me. I turned to see Jason, laughing. I made a pouty face. "Don't do that! I get scared easily!" He continued laughing, then stopped. "Good morning sleepy head." He said with a smile. He walked over to an empty chair, then sat down. Jerome came over with plates of bacon and eggs, then set them down. Adam, who was acting just like Ty, stumbled into a chair, slumped down and drank some coffee Jerome put down.
"H-Hey Adam. Where's Ian and Quintein?" Jason asked, poking around his eggs. "They are off on a trip." He made an Oh face. I sat down, Jerome setting down a plate of steaming eggs and bacon, making my mouth water. "Jerome I never knew you could cook this good." I said, my mouth full of food. He shrugged. "Who do you think makes the food we eat." I noticed three chairs were empty when everyone sat down. One for Ian. One for Quintein. And one for...
"Has anyone seen Ashley?" Adam asked, more awake. We all looked at each other and shook our heads. "I didn't see her when I was cooking." "I didn't see her when I got up to see Jerome." Ty mumbled something but I guess he didn't see her either. I looked out the window, then my eyes widened. "Her car is gone." Adam started scratching his head. "She doesn't go anywhere without telling us first. I wonder where she had gone..."
My phone! I remembered leaving it on the table, I got up and looked at my phone.
From: Ashley
It seems I have a fever, so I'm heading out to the pharmacy to get some medicene. I'll be back later.
This was three hours ago. "She texted me earlier, saying she went to pick up some medicene." Jason stood up, putting his plate in the sink. "I'm going to head out now." He said, brushing off invisible crumbs off his shirt. My heart sank from the thought that he wasn't staying home today. "Where are you heading off to?" Adam asked, his eyebrow raised. Jason just smiled. "To pick up something." I swear he smiles a lot, which is not a bad thing cause he looks cute when he smiles. Somebody knocked on the door as Jason was about to leave. "Hey Ashley. Hey..." He paused. Was there someone else there? "Ruby."
No. No no no no no no no no.... "Hello Ruby. Ash, I'm going to head out. I hope you feel better." He said, each footstep was like a bullet shooting through me. He's probably going to see Ariana... As Ashley and Ruby walked into the kitchen, I dropped my fork. Ashley's eyes had bags under them, her face was pale and she looked weak. I gasped, then ran up to her.
"Ashley, you look like you have worse then a fever! Let's get you to bed now..." Ruby grabbed onto her arm. "I'll take her to her room. You just... Stay here. Or whatever you normally do." With that, she walked Ashley upstairs. I felt like I should follow them, instead, I asked Jerome "Could you make some chicken soup?" Then ran up to her room.
"She is really sick. How did you not notice!" Ruby yelled. I sat at the end of her bed, Ashley was covered by two thick blankets but was still shivering. "I-I didn't know. I-" "Was being a bad friend!" She finished, putting a wet towel over her head. "I don't see what she sees in you..." I heard her mumble. "What?" Ruby looked at me suprised. "Nothing." "Ok..." Mitch walked into the room carrying a tray with hot chicken soup. "Here you go. I'll call a doctor for you if you want." He said. I nodded. "Thank you Mitch." He nodded, then walked out of the room, closing the door.
"She has a very bad cold. Very ill. She will have to stay here for a few days. Here, once she goes home make sure she drinks this." A doctor in round thick glasses said, giving me a bottle which probably was the medicene. "Thank you. May I go see her?" He nodded, then walked off, scribbling something on paper. I rushed in, running to Ashley's aside. I knelt down, putting my hands on her bed. "Ashley... I'm here." She moved her head a bit, opened her eyes very slowly, looking at me, then smiled weakly. "Krystal..."
"Don't talk. You need your strength." I whispered. "I'm going to see if I can get you some soup." I said, standing back up. When I started walking away, Ashley grabbed me hand, pulling me back. "Don't leave." I smiled, kneeling back down and holding her hand. "I'll never leave my friend." Ashley smiled, then closed her eyes. I knelt there until I knew she fell asleep. I slowly stood up, and left the room quietly.
