This is probably my favorite chapter and I really hope you love it as much as I do. I hope it makes up for the last one. <3 Thank you so much for reading by the way! I love you all! -Angel:D

Dedicated to Annel (AnnelRamirezMena)! She's always supporting my stories and she's always there for me! She's awesome! Love you girl! :) <3

All week, things have been amazing. Anton, Porter, and I have been working really hard on the track. We had lyrics down and a start on the beat. We even looked at some of the other songs that were for the most part finished. There was one that I really loved. It was called Clarity. The beat was awesome, and it had a sick build up. Not to mention the lyrics were amazing.

I already considered Anton and Porter friends of mine, and they thought the same of me. We got along great, and we had so much fun in the studio. It was such a joy to spend the whole day in the studio with them.

Hope called back during the week too, and we finally caught up with each other. I told her about working with Anton and Porter and she about flipped. She told me she’s been busy with college and trying to keep up. Other than that, we just talked about how we were. It was nice to finally catch up with her.

Claire and Zach also called me every night for details on how things were going. Although I couldn’t tell them details about the songs, I was able to tell them how things were. I was pretty glad that I met them and had them as friends here.

I was starting to feel a hell of alot better about Michigan as well. It didn’t seem as foreign to me anymore. For that I was grateful.

Now, it was Friday. I could hardly believe that the first week had already went by this quickly. It was crazy. I got ready to head out to the studio. I put on my favorite band shirt and a pair of skinny jeans with converse. I straightened my hair and put on a thin layer of eyeliner and mascara. I grabbed my phone and headed out the door and out to my car.

Apparently I was earlier than I thought because Anton and Porter weren’t there yet. I checked my phone and I was 20 minutes early. I walked into the studio. The receptionist at the desk smiled at me and I smiled back. I didn’t know what to do since I was here so early.

I started wandering through the studio. All I really wanted to do was see Anton. The warm smile of his, his voice, his sense of humor, his gorgeous eyes...

Wait wait wait wait slow down. My heart fluttered at the thought of him. That definitely wasn't a good thing. He would never have feelings for me, and this was business. I sighed as I walked through a hallway. There was a room on the left side of me, with no door. The only room without a door it seemed. I looked inside to find a piano and a bench. The walls were a beautiful red with a white ceiling and trim and a hardwood floor. The room was somewhat small, yet spacey, since all that was in there was the piano. The lights were dim. I walked into the room and sat down on the bench. My fingers lightly ran over the keys. I couldn't resist. I pushed down on one key, then another.

I smiled at the sound the piano made. I loved playing the piano. I never learned how to play though. I was always too caught up in my voice and developing it to focus on learning an instrument.

I tried playing patterns, but failed miserably. My fingers ran over the keys trying to find rhythm. The first few notes I'd play sounded pretty, but after a few I couldn't find the beauty in the notes anymore. After a few attempts at that, I sighed.

"Go on." A familiar voice said. It startled me so much I jumped on the bench. I felt my heartbeat quicken, and not just because I was scared.

I looked behind me to see Anton standing in the doorway, smiling that beautiful smile of his.

"Sorry for the scare." He laughed.

I smiled back, "No worries."

"Keep playing." He urged. I looked away, kind of ashamed.

"I don't know how."

"You sounded pretty good from what I heard." I looked up to see him smiling at me.

"Thank you." I smiled back.

Anton walked into the room and sat on the right side of the bench beside me. I could feel the warmth from him, and I'm surprised my heart didn't jump out of my chest.

"I wanna teach you something." He smiled a small smile as he looked at me.

His eyes. Woah. Speak Grace. Speak.

"Okay." I smiled back.

"Don't be alarmed." He laughed. He scooted closer to me. Really close. Close enough that our sides were touching. My heart was hyperventilating. He extended his arm around me. Since I was smaller than him, he was able to put his left hand over mine. He did the same with his right. His fingers were over mine.

At this point, we were really close together, and his face was pretty much next to mine. I was frozen and my heart was racing. I breathed in, and I could smell him. Gosh he smelled good. I could stay here forever.

"Okay, make sure your fingers stay under mine." I smiled and nodded, afraid I might say something stupid if I even tried to speak.

He moved my hands with his and pushed my fingers down on the keys. The notes the keys were making were beyond beautiful. I grinned as Anton guided my fingers. The song sounded really familiar. It was beautiful.

He guided me to the last key. I smiled.

"That was beautiful. What song was that?" I breathed.

"Clarity." He chuckled.

I laughed,  "I knew that song was familiar."

"Thank you." I said as I turned my face to look at him. Big mistake.

We were still really close to each other, our sides were touching and his arm was still around me. He looked at me as I looked at him and our eyes locked with each other.

It was as if something snaped in me as I looked into his eyes. Our faces were too close together for friends, but that didn't bother me. What bothered me was the fact that I knew falling for him would hurt me.

I already fell though. I knew it.

We were still looking at each other in close proximity. I could feel us getting closer too.

"Woah!" Someone shouted from the doorway like something scared whoever it was.

Anton and I both snapped out of our trances quickly. We scooted apart and looked away from each other and his arm was back at his side in a flash as we both were startled. We both looked behind us at the doorway to find Porter standing there wide eyed. But his shocked expression turned to a curious and devious one in a second. He smiled mischievously, "Did I interrupt something here?"

"No!" We both said at the same time.

"Uh-huh." Porter said as he walked away from the door out of sight.

I laughed a nervous laugh and looked down at my hands that found their way to my lap after Porter scared us.

"Um we better get to work." Anton said nervously.

"Yeah, we should." I replied. I looked up at him again. He was looking down at his hands too. "Thank you." I said as I got up from the bench and made my way to door frame, not waiting for Anton to reply to me after what just happened. My nerves were everywhere, my heart was still beating out of control, and I was scared whatever happened just now ruined our freshly new friendship.

Anton walked beside me as we made our way down to the recording room. Despite my worries, I smiled big the entire way there.
