"You what!?!" Seb shouted.

"I didn't actually kiss her!" Jim shouted back in defence. Aliona sighed, and rolled her eyes at me. I crossed my arms, and lent against the doorway, rolling my eyes as a response.

"Why?" Seb growled. "Why are you doing this?"

"It's for a job!" Jim said.

"You're right!" Seb growled through gritted teeth. "As far as you're concerned, everything's a job. Just for work. You trick people, you tricked me into falling in love with you. But it's over, Moriarty, it's over!" Seb turned, and stormed past us.

"Sebb.." Moriarty called, drifting off when my brother didn't turn round. "Aliona. What... am I meant to do?" Moriarty asked his niece.

"What do you always do?" Aliona groaned, turning away, and walking off.

"Kirsty?" Moriarty asked.

"I don't know. I'll talk to him, but you have to make it up to him to, you know. Let him in on what you're doing. He can help you. Just, don't break him, because I won't hesitate to shoot you." I turned, and went to find my brother.

Seb was shooting the wall angrily.

"Seb." I said at the door.

He turned, aiming the gun at my heart as a reflex action, but then relaxed, seeing who it was.

"Seb?" I asked "Are you ok?" Stupid question.

"No, genius. I'm not." Sebastian muttered. He shot the wall again, furiously pulling the trigger, reloading in the angriest way I'd ever seen, and shooting again.

"Seb..."

"SHUT UP!" he yelled. A tear ran down his face, but I knew better than to mention it. "Just shut up."

He threw the pistol at the wall, making me jump.

"Shut up." he repeated, lying face down on his bed.

Seb's whole body shook as he cried. I sat on the edge of his bed, and tentatively placed a hand on his shoulder.

"They were right. I'm an idiot. I fall in love with the wrong people." Seb said, his voice muffled.

"Seb. They have and never will be right." I said. "Their shadow still hangs over you. They're dead. Forget about them. They can't hurt you anymore."

Out of the corner of my eye I saw a person stand in the doorway. I looked up. It was Moriarty. 'No' I mouthed, signalling for him to go away. He left as silently as he had come.

"Seb?" I shook his shoulder gently.

"It hurts, you know." Seb muttered. "to think that he never loved me all this time."

"He did, Seb." I said.

"Don't side with him! Just don't." Seb said, sitting up.

As I handed him some tissues, I said "Don't show him it hurts. Act like you're fine. He doesn't have to know. Make him jealous."
