Guys. I didn't want this day to come, but here it is.
~ Chaser

I ran, the ground disappearing beneath my feet, sniper bag banging against my back.

How could I have been so stupid? I hadn't waited to pick them off one by one, I had panicked, and shot three of them in succession, but the fourth man had got away. I had been an idiot.
So I ran.

I could hear a gunshot ring out, and I ran faster.
Another gunshot indicated that they were gaining on me, and also had rubbish aim. Like Stormtroopers.
I smiled at the thought, but then concentrated on running. I could see my motorbike, I just had to get to it and get away.

Suddenly red hot pain shot through my side. My hand instinctively went to my right, just below my ribcage, and came away red from blood.

I got to the motorbike, and quickly started it up, getting away as soon as possible.
I was becoming increasingly dizzy, and felt ill, but I got myself home.

I had hardly staggered in, when Seb realised something was wrong. "Jim. Ambulance. Now." he rushed to me, and inspected the damage. There was pain in his eyes, but he was trying to not let it show. "Kirsty- you'll be ok.."

I smiled sadly "Don't lie to me."

"But you have to be! Please, Kirs." Jim had returned from calling the ambulance. "Phone Ed as well!" Seb barked.

I was vaguely aware of Seb talking, Jim talking, lights and noise and more talking and people I didn't know rushing around me, the bright lights of a hospital, and then Seb came back into focus a bit. Jim was standing just behind him, and Ed was sitting next to him. " You'll be ok, Kirsty. I promise you." Ed muttered.

Jim was pacing up and down "I've got men out searching for the shooter... They're going to regret it..."

"Jim... It's ok..." I coughed.

"Do you want us to get a doctor or something over here?" Seb asked.

I shook my head. "No... Just.. my family.."

Seb nodded.

"I'll see you.. in hell." I muttered. Jim smiled sadly.

"In hell." Seb agreed.
Ed was crying... Why was he crying? I tried to ask him... But.. Nothing.
Seb also had tears running down his face... I wanted to comfort him, but I couldn't... Jim was trying... I couldn't reach out to them, talk to them... They were disappearing...
