~Introduction~
Hinduism is from the Sankrit name god the Indus River: Sindhu. "The Persians who found it difficult to pronounce the initial s called it Hindu"
~Population~
According to a 2012 Pew Research Study, there is a rough estimate of one billion Hindus today- around 15% of the Earth's whole population. At that, the majority of them- around 700 million- Live in India, and that is about 82% of their population.
~Hinduism Facts~
1. Although a very popular religion it is very unclear what it's teaching.
2. Hinduism is a very popular religion in Nepal and India
3. Hinduism is the world's third largest religion by population
4. It has very diverse roots and no founder in specific
5. Hinduism doesn't have a specific foundation date
~The founding of Hinduism~
According to what I have found Hinduism has no founder in specific, nor does it has a specific foundation, so this isn't a very clear topic, therefore I can't say much about it.
