Roman's P.O.V

I slowly opened my eyes to greet the chirping of birds. I looked to my left but Kristina wasn't there. I lifted my head quickly and sat up. The morning greeted me with a painful headache mixed with horrible confusion. "She was here...." I said standing with my crutches. I quickly walked to the lobby. "Kristina?" I looked around the hospital for her. No luck. "Excuse me, Nurse Ginger?" I asked and she turned. "Yes, Roman?" She asked. "Have you seen Kristina? Kristina Lopez?" I asked. "I think she stepped out this morning. With two other guys." She said. "Did she say where?" I looked around. "No. The guys just said they were taking her out for a while. I'm sorry that's all I can give you." Ginger said as she bowed. "That's quite alright. Have a nice day." I said walking past her and walking outside. "Where could she have gone? And with who?" I said to myself with my jacket over my shoulders. I tried calling. No answer. "I hope she turns up....." I said sighing.

Seth's P.O.V

"Haa....leave....my sister....haa...alone...!" I was on the ground and panting. The guys had Kristina's hands tied above her head and her legs chained to the table legs. I had my hands and feet tied to parts of concrete. "Ngh....let us go! Let my sister go!" I yelled as I struggled to move forward. "This girl gave us trouble. Remember us, girly?" One guy asked. She gasped and struggled even more to get free. "Yeah she remembers us. Mostly, that little knee accident....." The other one said as he pushed her down to the floor and slowly spread her legs apart. She kneed him and managed to drag herself close to me with the weight of the table. The bloody scars, slits, bumps, and bruises Kristina obtained only made me feel worse than I could possibly feel. I pulled my arms with all my strength and placed them around Kristina. "I won't let you hurt her....not my sister....not now....not ever..." I said glaring. "Fine then. We'll just hurt you instead. I hope you can take a beating." He said as he cut the ropes on both my wrists. I pulled myself up and looked at them both. One guy put a knife to my neck and the other kept trying to fondle my sister. She glared with teary eyes and kneed him again. He fell and she panted. She laid on her side and closed her eyes. I managed to pull my foot close enough and lift it high enough so I could drop the concrete block on the man's foot. The rope broke and the man fell and screamed. My sister tried to crawl away but one of the two grabbed her by her ankle. I tried to run over but I fell forgetting I had one more concrete block tied to my foot. My sister screamed as blood trickled down her stomach. "KRISTINAAAAA!!!" I yelled as I struggled for my dear life. She passed out and I glared at the guy. I pulled my foot and broke the concrete block on his head. The rope snapped and I was free. I untied Kristina's ankles and wrists and picked her up. I ran to the hospital and she instantly was placed in her room.

About 7 Weeks Later...

"Kristina? You ok?" I asked walking into her room. "Hey Roman....how's your knee?" She asked. "Good. Your abdomen?" "Still hurts.....I should be ok....what are you doing here?" "To check on you of course...." I said walking over. "Where's Seth? He didn't come?" "He went to Ohio with Dean." "You didn't?" She asked. A long pause relayed until I spoke out. "I didn't want to leave you alone." I said sitting next to her. "I'm glad you're all healed..." "I donated blood to you." She looked at me. "What? Roman, why would you do that? You already lost a lot of blood." "I'm fine. My boy Dean offered to donate to you but I did instead." I said standing up. Kristina looked at me with a slight squint. "Am I blurry?" I asked waving my hand in her face. "No.....it's nothing...." She said turing on her side and looking at the dull hospital wall. "I'll be in my room." I said walking off.

A Couple Of Days Later...

I was in my hospital room mourning and reminiscing over Kristina. Doctors had rushed into her room and she had a heart attack. I couldn't see her.....I haven't seen her. Finally, my body and mind gave in and I was forced into a coma. Each day, I worried about Kristina. I didn't want her to become worse because of my condition.

Kristina's P.O.V

I laid in my hospital bed with my hands shaking. Hearing that Roman was in a coma made me devastated. And it was making my condition worse. I could barely walk let alone stand without struggle and now I could barely breath. I stood slowly and pulled myself to Roman's room. I struggled but managed to walk over to his hospital bed and stand in place. "Roman...." I said softly knowing he wouldn't respond. I lifted my head when I heard a skip in the heart monitor. "No...." I looked at him and his breathing lessened. "Roman....no..." My eyes watered as I pressed my forehead against his. My eyes widened as I heard the heart monitor make a flat "beeeeeeezzzz" sound. Tears flowed down my cheeks and onto his face. I pressed my lips against his and continued to cry.

Roman's P.O.V

I felt tears fall on my cheeks and jaw. But then I felt a warm press against my lips. Kristina was kissing me and crying. As much as I wanted to kiss back, I couldn't. I felt like doing something to show her I was alive or even the slightest of breathing. But instead, I felt her head press against my chest and her arms wrap around my body. The hics and sobs and other crying noises came from Kristina. All I could do was sit still, asleep and dead, while she cried on me and had no intention of letting go. I finally felt her arms unravel from around my waist and felt her hand on my cheek. Then I felt a push of wind and a light slam. My sight and taste were gone and my touch, sound, and smell were much stronger. I heard Kristina yelling at a doctor and begging to let her stay. I'm guessing the doctors heard a beep and rushed in to see if I was ok. I was soon unable to hear anyone or feeling anything.

4 Days Later...

I sat out in the hospital gardens looking at the flowers that were beginning to wither due to the Autumn wilders and whirls. Leaves surfed the Fall winds as if high tides swept in. I was out of my coma. I was free. Except for one thing. Kristina wasn't here by my side. "All I feel is pain..." I sighed and looked at the hospital building. "But I do it for her."
