"You guys are fan of this type of competition so I'm thinking we do a duet contest." Will says.
"Do we get to pick our partners?" Joe asks.
"No." Will says.
"How do we get our partners?" Blaine asks.
Will picks up a hat and holds it up, "Random selection."
Names are pulled out and partnered up on the board.
They are:
Ryder and Marley
Kitty and Jake
Finn and Blaine
Joe and Quinn
Kurt and Rachel
Santana and Mercedes
Sam and Puck
Unique and Tina
Mike and Artie
Sugar and Brittany
They all get into their partners and start to think of songs to sing.
"I want to sing that new Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran song." Marley says to Ryder.
"But not to each other right?" Ryder asks.
"No. Because I love Jake and you're with Kitty." Marley says.
"Marley, I know it's kind of awkward between us since I loved you and you didn't love me back and then we broke up but I think of you as my little sister and I'm your big brother. I may not love you in the romantic way anymore but that connection can be used in a family sort of way." Ryder says.
"Totally." Marley says.
Ryder half smirks then nods.

The next day, the first duet is Finn and Blaine. Finn is at the drum kit with a microphone stand in front of him while Blaine has a microphone on a stand. He has a guitar with him which is kind of unnatural for Blaine.
"So I've never told you guys I play guitar." Blaine says, gesturing to the bass guitar around his neck.
"And you all know I play drums." Finn says.
"But our song is a rock song so it's needed." Blaine says.
Blaine starts to play for the start.
[Blaine:]

The band and Finn join in.
