"Dammit." Ryder says, putting his phone down on the cafeteria table after reading something.
"What's up, man?" Sam asks, after taking a sip of his juice.
"Kitty's parents decide to go on a small trip to Miami for a family vacation. I can't go the Sadie Hawkins with her anymore." Ryder says.
Marley walks over to the table where Ryder, Sam, Mercedes, Rachel, Brittany, Santana and Finn are all sitting. She puts her tray down on the table and sits in between Ryder and Sam.
"Where's Jake?" Mercedes asks.
"He's sick. Some stomach bug or something." Marley says as she starts to poke at her food.
"Maybe it's that Asian bird flu going around." Finn says.
"Maybe." Rachel says.
"But apparently he's so sick he's going to miss out on the Sadie Hawkins dance." Marley says, looking a bit saddened.
"Maybe we could go together. As friends of course." Ryder says.
"Ryder, the girl has to ask." Marley says, looking at him.
"Okay then why don't you ask?" Ryder asks.
Marley sighs, "Ryder Lynn, will you be my Sadie Hawkins friend date?" Marley asks with a smile.
"I'd love to." Ryder says, lifting his juice bottle. Marley lifts her own and taps it against his.

Sadie Hawkins night arrives quickly. Finn and Rachel enter, arm in arm. Finn looks very dapper in a casual suit and tie while Rachel is wearing a mid shin length light pink dress. They smile at their surroundings. There are giant wooden stars, red curtains and SADIE HAWKINS 2014 in big light up letters behind the stage.
"They really went all out, didn't they?" Rachel asks.
"They sure did but let's dance." Finn says.
"That is the first and last time I'll probably ever hear you say that." Rachel jokes. Finn chuckles and drags her onto the dance floor as the first song begins to be perform. Kurt and Blaine are all ready to perform on the stage.
