Save Rock And Roll ~ Part 1

Basically, I have become quite obsessed with Fall Out Boy and I like some songs by Green Day too. I also like a few Aerosmith songs and stuff so this is a chapter basically dedicated to mainstream rock bands and stuff like that.
Also it's now the start of the year so that means it's now 2014 in this story.

"This week is dedicated to mainstream rock." Will says to the Glee Club.
"Why don't you go give the girls a different assignment. They'll be much better with their pop songs." Puck says with a smug smile.
"Us girls are good with rock." Santana says, folding her arms and sending glare at Puck from her seat in the row behind him.
"What's one famous mainstream rock band?" Puck asks.
The girls go silent in thought then Marley speaks up, "Fall Out Boy."
"Jake," Puck says, "Your girl's good."
"Yeah she is." Jake says, sending a smile at Marley.
"So I'm going to assign you guys a band to sing a song by." Will says.
He starts to write up some names on the board with a band next to them. It goes like this:

Jake & Sam - Aerosmith
Kitty & Marley - Paramore
Finn & Blaine - Green Day
Girls - Mash Up of your choice
Group (Can't be all Male leads) - Fall Out Boy

"Good choices, Mr Schue." Blaine says.
"Aerosmith. Yes!" Jake says, hi-fiving Sam.
"Now get prepared everybody." Will says, clapping his hands together.

"I'm thinking we sing that power ballad that Aerosmith did for the movie Armageddon." Sam says to Jake as they walk down the hallway after the short Glee club meeting.
"You're saying we tackle that amazing song, I Don't Want To Miss A Thing?" Jake asks.
Sam looks blankly at Jake then nods, "Yup."
"I'm in." Jake says and fist bumps Sam.
"So how's Marley going?" Sam asks.
"She's good and she's making some good progress. I'm proud of her." Jake says.
"We're all supporting her too. Well, Cedes and I are." Sam says.

The next day, Jake and Sam are ready to perform. They get ready at on the choir room floor with two microphones with stands.
"I am dedicating this song to Marley who I love so much." Jake says. Marley blows him a kiss and he catches it and presses it on his heart.
"And I am dedicating this to my love, Mercedes Jones." Sam says, grinning at Mercedes who smiles back proudly.
The band begin to play and the boys get ready to perform.

[Sam:]
