Chapter 24

Tonio POV

I was still sleeping this morning then my phone started ringing. I didn't answer the first 3 times but the 4th time it got annoying so i answered.

Me:Hello?

Jai:Hey Tonio guess what

Me: What

Jai: Levi started walking

Me: Lord that is a blessing

Jai: I know and i heard him say MaMa and DaDa

Me: So he called Rakir DaDa?

Jai: Yes Tonio. He's a baby and he doesn't understand

Me: well I want to see my son.

Jai: I'll send a video of him walking

Me: alright bye

Jai: bye

I locked my phone back up and set it on the dresser. About 3 minutes later I was dozing off. I heard my phone vibrate but I knew it was Jaila. She could wait so I fell back asleep

Lia POV

I have been feeling a lot better now that Stephan has my back. He takes care of me and Lexi. He buys groceries for the house, he buys Lexi toys, I'm just so thankful he's here

Today I thought I should get back in contact with everyone I haven't talked to in awhile. I went completely antisocial since Anthony died.

*Phone Rings*

Day Day: Hello

Me: hey Day Day this is me Lia

Day Day: what is up I haven't talked to you in forever!?

Me: nothing much. what's been going on with you?

Day Day: Nothing the same thing that I usually be doing

Me: that's good I hope you're staying out of trouble

Day Day: yeah I am is Stefan over there with you?

Me: yeah he is.

Day Day: tell him I said hit me up very soon.

Me: okay I will.

Day Day: Thanks.

Me: I'll talk to you later I was just checking on you.

Day Day: I should be calling you to check on you you.

Me: Whatever Day Day I'll call you later.

Day Day: alright bye

It felt good to talk to Day Day. I hung up my phone and I went to the nursery to get Lexi. She wasnt in there.

I went to find Stephan and he was rocking her on the living room couch. I stood there and smiled.

Day Day POV

"Who was that?" Diana asked me as I had just hung up the phone

"My homeboy Anthony his widower" I said thinking

"Awwe I'm so sorry for ya loss" Diana said kissing my cheek. "Its ok or whatever" i said when really i wanted to cry a little.

I sat in bed thinking of what to do today. "Wanna throw a party?" I asked Diana. "Um I guess" she said slightly

I got up and put on some clothes. "What are we celebrating for?" Diana said "i don't know just a lil get together or sum" i said

I went too the bathroom and put on some rash cream. I got my things and walked to the front door. "Did you want to come?" i asked Diana. She said 'yes' and ran to the back and put on some clothes.

I started the car and listened to music while I was waiting on Diana. She came out wearing booty shorts and a tank top with sandals and hoop earrings.

She was walking to the car then I stopped her and gave her the keys. "Go lock the door please" i said smiling hard "Ugh!" she stomped her feet and locked it.

I unlocked the car doors so she can get in. "Where's our first stop?" she asked me.

"Sams" i pulled out and drove to Sams. Diana had pulled out her wallet and i thought that shit was a bible. "Damn girl" i whispered

"What?!" she said "yall um be doing yall thing" i said

"Yea Stripping?I dont strip anymore" she said sounding upset

"Why?" i asked "I dont have time to be popping my pussy in 20 different nigga's face every night" she said

"Well damn, but popping yo pussy get you alot of money tho" i said "I know but that's not what I want to do for the rest of my life." she was looking straight ahead.

We soon arrived at Sams. I parked in the first parking spot by the door. I knew we were about to cash out on food.

I walked in and we showed those people our cards. Diana picked up most of the things. Chips, candy, drinks, nachos, and much other stuff. When she was ready to check out, we had a buggy full of stuff. The total was $238.45.

Diana wanted to pay but that would be hella embarrassing. I told her to put her money away and I paid myself. Then we stopped and got some food.

It took us a while to put everything in the car. "Don't be staring at my ass Day Day" she said. She was caking how could i not?
