Chapter 27

Tonio POV

While Day Day was throwing his tantrum everybody left and i went straight home. At 1:43 in the morning someone was knockin at my door. I got out of bed and answered and it was Jaila.

"Jaila?!" i asked
"Yea its me"
"Come on in" i said opening the door wider.

She had Levi in her hands sound asleep. I took him from her and carried him to the nursery room.

"Ssssh be quiet try not to wake up Charity" i said putting my index finger over my lips.

We tip toed to my room and i quietly closed the door.
I got in bed and Jai just stood there at the door looking possessed.

"Jaila!? Get in bed" i said patting the other side.
She slowly walked over to the other side and stood there. She was creeping me out

"Jaila what's wrong?!" i got up cause at this point i was scared.
"Tonio, I shouldn't be doing this" she said

"Doing what girl?"
"Sleeping with you " she said picking her fingers
"Girl if you dont get yo ass in this bed-"
"Tonio I'm serious" she said

"Ight, know what I'm finna go to sleep. Do what you want to do Goodnight don't wake up Charity" i said crawling back in bed

Jaila POV

I did just what Tonio suggested. I walked out his bedroom and went in the nursery. I grabbed a baby blanket that i left before and wrapped myself in it.

Within minutes i was out cold.

*The Next Morning*

I woke up and looked at the time on my phone. It was 11 o'clock so i got out of bed and when i went to go get Levi he wasn't in there.

I walked across the hall; into Tonio's room and he wasn't in there. I walked down to the dining room, Tonio was sitting at the table feeding Levi. I froze

"Goodmorning Jai" he said getting up and giving me a kiss.
"Goodmorning Tonio" i replied

I peeped in the living room and Charity was laying down with her eyes wide open. "You hungry" Tonio asked walking up behind me

"Yea starving" i said
"I left a few waffles on the stove" Tonio said
I walked in the kitchen and heated up the waffles since they were a little cold.

Levi started winning so Tonio picked him up and comforted him. "Aye Li man, daddy's got you" Tonio said to Levi taking him to his room.

I smiled. The microwave beeped and i took out my waffles. I poured syrup over them and sat at the dinner table. I was still concerned about Charity.

"Why you eating so slow?" Tonio said creeping back in the dining room
"I don't know" i stuttered

Tonio got up from the table and called Charity to come eat.
"Charity? If you hungry its food in the stove" I heard Tonio say
"Charity? Charity?! Oh shit!!"
I dropped my fork and ran in the living room

Tonio was holding Charity's hands and checking her pulse
"Sh-She-She's dead" Tonio stuttered with fear in his eyes.

I didn't hesitate to run and get my phone to call 911.

Police: 911 Whats your emergen-

Me: There's a dead body in my baby fathers living room please come quick.

Police: Alright police are on their way

I hung up and ran back in the living room and saw Tonio pacing around the room.
"Did you call the police?!" he yelled

"Yes Tonio damn nigga calm down" I said making a face
"She took pills" he said stopping and starring at a pill bottle next to her on the floor.

He picked it up and read it.
"Sleeping pills?" he said
He threw the bottle at Charity's dead body and grunted.
It was kind of funny.

The police soon arrived and did an investigation scene. It was scary, very scary
