Why is Cassiel crying? He was fine a minute ago when Sebastian and I were talking about his first time cooking. The next thing I knew, he's crying out of nowhere. Did I say something to upset him? No, that can't be it because I said nothing about him. I can't worry it about that now. I have to calm him down!
"Look at me, Cassiel. Alright? Inhale, come on. Inhale, take a deep breath and count with me from ten. Think you can do that?" I instruct him as calmly as possible so as not to make him feel worse than he already is. Cassiel nods his head and takes a deep shaky breath.
"Good, good. Now listen to me and try to count. Ten...." I start, staring at the crying boy before me while he exhales.
"T-t-ten......" Cassiel repeats.
"Very good, Cassiel. Nine....." I compliment and carefully wipe away his tears. That's what people do to comfort them, right? I wouldn't know since I never cried once in my life. Kings never cry, not even future kings.
We kept counting down to one until Cassiel's tears cease to fall and his breathing returns to normal. But, he remains a bit shaken up. From what? I don't have the faintest idea. I should ask him about it after he's fully calm. For now, I'll let him be and simply follow whatever he wants to do.
"Feeling better?" I ask in a gentle tone, in case he was still sensitive.
Cassiel gives me a small nod as his response and whispers quietly, "I-I'm fine now....." Back to straining to hear him say a word.
"Good, I was worried for a second there. But since you were crying, what would you like to do?" I question.
"Um..... C-can we watch a movie?" Cassiel answers my question with another question.
"Of course, it is your house after all." I remind him with a small smirk on my lips. Immediately after saying that, his cheeks turn pink on his pale skin. "What would you like to watch?"
"A Disney movie....." Cassiel offers meekly. Actually, he reminds me of a small child. "Like The Lion King?"
"Of course, whatever you want to do." I reassure, tempted to stroke his hair. I really want to pet his hair. I wonder if it is as soft as it looks?
"Thank you..... Your brother won't mind?" Cassiel asks with concern laced in his voice.
"Do I have to remind you again that this is your house?" I tease.
"Uh.... Um, th-that's right..... It's m-my house....." Cassiel stutters. Do I make him nervous?
"Go on, you two. Dinner won't be ready for an hour or so." Sebastian informs us.
"Alright, Sebastian. Come along, Cassiel. Let's go watch that film you mentioned earlier." I affirm as I herd Cassiel to his living room where I see Leo watching some documentary on the History Channel. "Leo, Cassiel wants to watch a movie."
"I-It's fine.... He can watch his show...." Cassiel murmurs.
"Cassiel, this is your house and if you want to watch a Disney film, you are going to watch it." I declare and went over to my younger brother. "Don't you agree, Leo?"
"Ja, it's your house, Cas." Leo confirms while he gives me a questioning look.
"O-ok.... I'll go put it on then...." Cassiel mutters and shuffles toward his television station that has a cabinet underneath it while I sat next to my brother.
"Was ist da hinten passiert?" Leo asks in a hushed tone. (What happened back there?)
"Cassiel emisi plorans ita levare oculos ejus spiritus, putavi a film serenant esset eum." I mumble back, my eyes gazing at the timid boy's back. (Cassiel was crying so to lift his spirits up, I thought a film would tranquilize him.)
