"Are we going to watch a movie?" I ask Antonio on the way to the parking lot.

The past couple of days, I kept bugging Antonio with my questions about our surprise date. I decided against asking him about his dad's weird questions during dinner when I saw how sorry he was about the whole thing the next morning. He kept apologizing for a whole minute about his dad that I had to kiss him just so he could stop. Needless to say, he liked my spontaneous kiss and joked about apologizing to me more often. And yes, I blushed at that.

Still, this mysterious date is killing me. I tried every single excuse that I could think of just so he could tell me. Antonio didn't budge once. Not even when I asked my mom to find out. According to her, Antonio knew right away that I was the one who asked her and reassured her that the date he has for me is completely safe. Meaning, I still have no idea where he's taking me.

"No, I'm not taking you to watch a film. We've done that plenty of times whenever I come to your house." Antonio answers as he unlocks his super expensive looking car.

"Then, you're taking me out on a picnic?" I guess, opening the passenger side door before entering inside.

"That could be another date when we're more familiar with each other." Antonio replies as he gets on the driver's seat and buckles himself up. So, not a picnic. Ugh, where the fudge is he taking me?!

"You know, this isn't fair. You haven't even gave me any clues!" I point out with a pout, putting my own seatbelt on.

"Yes, I have. I told you that it's family friendly, we'll get to know each other better, and it requires being outdoors." Antonio states, chuckling softly.

"That could be anything!" I protest which only made Antonio laugh harder at my comment.

"Then, be patient. Tomorrow's our date and we have to be up really early if we want to be there." Antonio informs as he backs out of the school's parking lot.

"Tomorrow can't get here fast enough." I grumble mostly to myself, but I'm pretty sure he heard me. He freaking laughed at me again. . .

The way home wasn't long, but it only made the day go by really slow. So, hearing my alarm go off at eight in the morning literally made me jump out of bed. I grab the clothes I picked out last night and head to my bathroom to shower. After I was done, I quickly changed then fix up my hair so that my cowlick doesn't show up throughout my date.

After that, I head downstairs and prepared myself a bowl of cereal while I wait for Antonio to text me. In the middle of having breakfast, Mom and Dad walked into the kitchen in their work clothes. I'm guessing they're ready to go any minute now.

"Morning, Mom. Morning, Dad." I greet them.

"Morning, honey. Ready for your date?" Mom asks with a sly smile while Dad takes out the milk from the fridge. He can't function without his cup of coffee in the morning.

"Yup! I'm just waiting for Antonio to text me saying that's he's here. Do you have a meeting to go today?" I answer as a bit of heat reaches my cheeks.

"No, today I'm going to check the factory and see how the new products are coming along." Mom informs me, getting a mug for her cup of coffee.

"Oh, ok. Dad? What about you?" I question and turn my attention to him, watching him take a sip of his coffee.

"Nothing new. I'm going to do what I always do, check out some finances and help out in the kitchen." Dad replies as he adds a bit more sugar in his coffee. I nod my head in understanding and went back to eating my cereal.

Right as I finished my cereal, I heard Antonio's ringtone on my phone and quickly answered it. "Hello?"

"Morning, Cassiel. Are you ready to go?" Antonio responds on the other side of the line.
