Chapter 59: The Prince Eavesdropping

"Are you sure I'm not too dressed up? Because you look absolutely stunning in that dress of yours, Natalia." I compliment despite my insecurity rising the more we walk towards the restaurant.

Since today is my first date with Natalia, I didn't know whether to go in complete dressing clothes and take her to a restaurant or be in a casual attire and pretend we're normal adolescents. In the end, I chose a semi casual attire and a decent fast food restaurant. Leo was actually the one who suggested it and Natalia thought it was a good idea.

And so, here we are. At The Habit: Burger Grill where there's hardly any people there. I noticed a booth with two guys together, a group of girls next to them, an older couple at a table, and I could barely see a small group of friends hanging out on the other side. Despite all the people here, it still feels comfortable and cozy in a way. The best part, however, was the no line in front of us.

"So many things to choose from. What are you going to have?" Natalia asks while she looks at the menu.

"I suppose the first combo they have. The charburger." I reply when the cashier asked if we were ready. I turn to look at Natalia and tilt my head, "Are you?"

Nodding her head, she walks over to the counter with me following suit. We placed our orders with me paying for them and we were told what our number is. Natalia went to fill our cups with drinks while I was tasked in finding us a place to sit.

On the other side with the group of friends is not ideal because they're occasionally loud. It would make both Natalia and I uncomfortable, so I move on to where there's a little more people. Though, the only available seat is the booth with the two boys next to it which is perfectly fine by me. They seem to be on a date of their own so they wouldn't bother me and Natalia. With that in mind, I head over to the only available booth.

However, as I got closer to it, I noticed that one of the boys there looked extremely familiar to me. Even the other boy there has a sense of familiarity to me. But, I don't know why. I've never seen him before and yet, his face gives me the sensation that we have met before. Why does he look familiar to me?

I must have stood there staring at the boy because his green eyes flicker to mine and his eyebrows furrow to form an angry expression on his face. If we have met, I do not think he was particularly fond with me. His eyes bears what looks to be disdain in them that I wanted to ask him if I have offended when a voice I know all to well speaks, "What are you looking at, Austin?"

The owner of the voice turns around and those blue eyes widen once they landed on me. For some reason, I felt my heart skip a beat when those blue eyes met mine. The world around me fades away; the sounds become distorted and I have tunnel vision on one person. Cassiel, the boy who orchestrated my accident with that boy he's sitting in front of.

He must be the lover Father talked about. . . I muse when I heard my name being called. Everything returns to normalcy as I shift my head to my right and see Natalia standing there.

"I'm sorry, did you called me?" I ask while I try to ignore the feeling that I'm being watched.

"Yes, you were standing there that I thought maybe something was bothering you. Is your head hurting or did your memories returned?" Natalia answers, her concern evident in her voice.

"I'm fine, Natalia. I just saw someone. . ." I trail off as I turn back to take one quick glance at Cassiel. He's still sitting there, staring at me, with something in his eyes. Sorrow, hurt, remorse.

"Who did you see?" She question, though I barely heard her.

My attention is fixated on Cassiel staring at me for another second when he looks away. I decide to do the same and return my gaze on the beautiful next to me. "No one of importance. I found us a place to sit, come."
