"The patient seems to be alright, nothing major to worry right now. A bump like this to the head, it is expected that he will undergo a concussion. Usually for a couple of days." The doctor informs me after making me wait about three hours to hear any news of Cassiel's well being. I have already called Cassiel's parents through his phone but they were not able to get to the hospital as of yet so they asked me to look after Cassiel until they arrive, something that I would have done anyway.

"Thank you, Doctor. May I see him?" I ask. Perhaps he will awaken by the time I enter his room. I could apologize for my behavior the past month.

"Yes, but only for a couple of minutes." The Doctor advises and walks away, most likely to check up on another patient.

Entering Cassiel's room, I make my way towards the unconscious boy lying on the hospital bed. He looks rather peaceful in that state, as if he was sleeping. I took a seat by his side and adjust the chair to move as close as I can to Cassiel. Without realizing it, my hand took hold of his and I have to say, it feels natural holding it. That's what someone is suppose to do when their loved one is hurt, you hold their hand and hope for the best.

"Cassiel? I'm not sure if you can hear me but I want you to know that I wish you a fast recovery so that I may have the decency to tell you directly how much I regret pushing you away. I'm truly sorry for putting you in this hospital but I promise you that I won't leave your side ever again." I vow earnestly, lifting his hand up to my lips and gave it a soft kiss.

"You brought him in here?" A voice asks from behind me. My body immediately stood up and shifted to face the person that spoke. Except, the one who owns that voice was someone I didn't expect to see. The recently added student in my school, Hunter Lyall.

"What are you doing here?!" I practically yell but managed to keep my voice down so as not to disturb Cassiel's slumber.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm here to check on Cassiel. Leo told me what happened but I'm surprised to see you here seeing as you ditched him for those thick headed football players." Hunter retorts and walks over towards Cassiel's bed.

"I did not ditch him for them. Now tell me why you're here." I demand as my eyes narrow into a glare, my body tensing up as though he was threat to my friend. What am I saying? He is a threat to Cassiel.

"Because he and I are friends and you're the bastard jerk that broke his heart?" Hunter rhetorically answers and took a seat next to him.

"What do you mean by me breaking his heart?" I question. I know I hurt Cassiel but what did he meant by that?

"You can't be that blind." Hunter states, completely ignoring my question.

"Answer me!" I shout angrily.

"I guess you are. But I'll let Cassiel explain that to you once he wakes up." Hunter concludes and pets Cassiel's hair. That action of his made my temper grow almost to the point of losing my self control of it.

"I don't have to tolerate this. Get out before I call security to escort you out." I threaten.

"And tell them what? That I don't have any right to be here because you don't know anything about Cassiel and all the shit he has gone through from his last school?" Hunter counters.

"I already know what happened to Cassiel! You told me about it on Thomas' birthday!" I snap, losing my patience.

Hunter releases a sigh of exasperation and shakes his head. "That wasn't even half of what happened. I only gave you the spark notes version." He replies.

There was more to it?! I mentally shout. However, before I could pry out the rest of the story from him, a woman's voice interrupts our conversation.
