How disappointing to learn wolves don't mate for life. When Cassiel told me that his favorite animal is a wolf, my mind instantly thought of the mates for life myth. Sadly, it is not true, much to my dismay. However, Cassiel did say that if the mates lived, then the myth remains true. Watching Cassiel staring at the two wolves brings me a sense of accomplishment for the bliss like look he's wearing.

Cassiel is relaxed in my arms while I stare down at him who appears to be content in looking at the two wolves playing with each other. Ever since he found the wolves exhibit, Cassiel hasn't stopped gazing at them with awe. But, I didn't bother to pry him from his beloved animal. If I could, I would buy him a wolf pup for him to take care for.

Though, I highly doubt that a wolf could be used as a pet. From the looks of the two wolves in the exhibit, they seem to need large space to roam and probably a few other things that I can't imagine. I'll settle with buying him a plush toy of a wolf instead. So long as Cassiel doesn't insist on paying for it.

"Cassiel? I hate to say this to you, but we should keep going. Otherwise, you'll never leave." I mutter into Cassiel's ear then place a chaste kiss on his neck just below his ear. Upon my kiss, I felt his body stiffen as some sort of reaction from my kiss.

"O-okay. . . Where are w-we going ne-next?" Cassiel stutters nervously, his head tilting up to face me. His cheeks blossoming another blush on his face which only makes him look cuter than before.

"To lunch. I heard your stomach growling for the past five minutes and so did mine. I don't know about you, but I will become irritatable if I don't eat something soon." I announce and turn his body around so he faces me.

"Oh! I'm so sorry! Why didn't you say something sooner?! You're probably starving to death right now. . . You should have said-" Cassiel rambles before I placed my lips on his. If I had allowed him to continue, he would be out of breath and quite possibly faint.

I didn't realize how much I missed kissing him until I felt the urge to kiss him until the end of time. Of course, I wouldn't feel this way if I haven't neglected Cassiel all day on our date. Fortunately, I know of one last place to take Cassiel before the day is over. My last surprise wasn't exactly what I had in mind originally, but it will probably help make this first date end on a happier note.

We checked the map for any nearby dining places, which I looked up on their offices website for details, and discovered that the best place to eat was at Sabertooth Grill. The restaurant was located in Elephant Odyssey so we decided to detour into the gift shop in Northern Frontier where I bought Cassiel a grey wolf plush toy behind his back.

I sent him to one side of the store while I searched for the plush toy and went to pay for it. By the time I was given my receipt, Cassiel came to my side and saw the wolf plush toy I bought. At first, he was overjoyed at the gift until he asked for the price and tried to pay me back. We argued about the toy for a few minutes that resulted in me chuckling at Cassiel's defeated face with that adorable and, quite frankly, attractive pout.

The two of then decided to check the animals along Elephant Odyssey before we get lunch at the restaurant. The first animal to greet us was my favorite animal in the entire world. The majestic golden lion, the king of the jungle. I did not hesitate in pulling Cassiel to the lion's exhibit and watch the lion sitting up surrounded by lionesses.

"Hey, Antonio? What's your favorite animal? Did we miss it?" Cassiel's voice questions, drawing me from my reverie.

"We're looking at it, Cassiel." I answer simply without sparing him a glance.

I heard Cassiel gasp before he exclaims, "Really?! Lions are your favorite animal?! Why didn't you tell me this when you watched The Lion King?!"
