Yet another pop punk singer's voice played on, complaining about how he hated his parents, his town, his ex's, and pretty much everything else as I walked to the front door of my home.

I could hear my mother yelling before my hand even touched the door knob. Spinning on my heels, I pulled my backpack up walking down the street. I headed opposite of the way I had originally gone. I pulled one ear bud out as a car sped past. I hummed to the sound of Soupy's voice but stopped when I realized the jet black Tesla started coming back towards me.

I froze confused until the window rolled down revealing the boy with bright red locks. Rolling my eyes, I started walking again only to be followed by Michael.

"Hey princess," he smirked riding slowly alongside me. "where are ya off to?"

I shrugged in response as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Do you even know where anything is?" My eyes went wide.

Shit. I didn't.

"Wanna ride somewhere?" I shook my head softly beginning to put my ear bud back in.

"Well I want you to come with me somewhere, so that's what you're gonna do, kitten." I froze in my tracks instantly.

That name, the tone of voice, the demands, even the smirk that was evident in his voice. It all hit me as flashbacks came to me like waves. Washing out only to be replaced by another thrown into my mind.

I ran, I turned and ran back home. I couldn't stop running. I heard Ashton call my name, I saw him wave, I saw the confusion on his face but I ran home. I ran through the door, down the stairs, and slammed my bedroom door.

Tossing my bag aside as I slid down the door, I held my head between my hands. I can't run from someone like him again.

I will not be making my chapters as long as I have in the past. I'm probably gonna make them as long as this here but i'm also gonna do them more often so woo.
