"I'm Fernus and this is Markus." I told you I'm a bad liar. "Where are you from?" "City of Hobbitzville." He stared at us and looked us over. "What trinkets are you looking for?" He proceeds to question us and swim around us like an interrogation. "Odds and Ends that sort of thing" Masley answers. "Well this is not a shop and nothing's for sale so move on and I'd better not see you snooping around MY ship again." He gets real close "Understood oafs??" Masley instantly agrees but I resist "Why? We just would like to take a look around I'm sure there are books candles things such as those I described that hold no interest to you!" He gawks at me "Young lady shut your--" "Sorry about her mouth sir she's a little feisty. Well good day to you we'll be on our way now! Bye!" Masley grabs me and swims nervously away. "Masley what in Athena's name is wrong with you!" "I'm saving our tailfins! You could've gotten yourself killed!" "I was fine he wasn't going to do anything he's just a big old oaf himself."
I waited until we swam far enough away and set up camp, to sneak away from Masley, who was so far gone asleep in his world of dreams; This may be risky, but it's worth the secrets I'll uncover. I thought to myself. I crept up the opposite side from where we first came because one of the Oaf's henchmen were standing watch on the previous route we attempted the ship. I peeked through a small crack and saw what I assumed used to be the captain's quarters when the ship was fully alive and functional. I saw the Oaf sleeping clenching onto a gold urn of some sort. I looked to the right past the door and saw what looked to be like the washroom connected with a small kitchen and what they've turned into an ale house. Figures. Mermen.
I found a hole that I fit through and this was just perfect luck for me these fools were so incompetent they didn't even think to board up the hole that leads directly into the treasure room I loaded up with gold pieces, diamonds, rubies, and letters that were each sealed by a candle seal. Then I swam back through the hole and was on my way back to the camp when I heard screaming and yelling from behind me. Shoot. He's awake. I kept to the sea floor and swam quickly in and out of trees and coral gardens. I saw Masley and woke him and slammed my hand over his mouth "Shut it or he'll hear us again and come after us." He looked terrified and passed out. OH GREAT. I thought. Just what I needed in case we need to make a quick escape.
Hours passed and daylight became of the waters. They'd been long gone and Masley finally waking up. "Wha? What happened? And Where were you last night?" "I'd went back to the ship to get some things now we have to move before they catch onto us." "No! That was not what we agreed on. I agreed to help you with this journey to this so called lost city and you're stealing??" "First of all Masley those men are thieves! That stuff probably came from a penniless family like that of your own. I'm doing us a favor and helping us in case we come across a town where we can help people such as ourselves. So calm yourself!" "I'm sorry Feralla if this is how you're going to do things I want out." "Fine! Go. I don't need you."
We parted in our separate ways and for some reason I began to cry. I feel as if I'd lost something important to me. However that isn't what I was on my quest for. I will find that city and continue on my way to greatness. I know that's what Alessandra wants me to do. I wander into this reef like town called 'Taibul' and a lady with an exotic headdress greets me at the gates. "Welcome traveler! You must be hungry and tiresome let's get you all cleaned up and feed that young hungry soul!" "Why thank you madame but I'd better be on my way I'm just passing through." "Oh but you must at least meet our queen! Esmeralda would love to see you, Feralla." She says effortlessly as she smiles all sweet. "Wait, how did you know my name?" "Esmeralda knows all child. She's a gypsy. Come, let's meet her?" "Well okay."
We arrive at this huge colorful castle made entirely of coral and shells. Her guards were fashioned as models rather than henchmen or guards. They didn't look the least bit scary. "She'll be out shortly why don't you relax and take a seat, or look around and make yourself at home darling." "Thank you again madame." "Why you're welcome child." I look at the paintings on the wall. They're all so beautifully crafted and the people all look of modest royalty something of the victorian era.
