Go to the fountain of truth located just around that statue there and then return to the temple near the gate when you are finish, and hurry we haven't much time and there's much to be taught and talked about. "Yes sir." I followed his instruction to the fountain and pondered his words. I didn't understand anything of what was going on and it frustrated me so. This place seems so great and beyond anything I could've ever imagined. So why me? Why here? Why was I chosen? None of which was answered really.
I looked up from my thoughts and saw her. There she was like nothing had ever happened to her. My mother. I swam to her as fast as I could. "Mama! Oh Mama! You're here?! You're really here aren't you!?" She smiled so gracefully and hugged me so. She was really there. Something else about her seemed familiar too, however that didn't matter all I cared about was that she was here hugging me. "My baby Feralla oh you've gotten so big and strong since I've gone." I was breathless this was so much to take in. "Darling sit with my by this fountain, you look famished. Take a drink." It was so peculiar why she was so insistent on it but nonetheless she was still my mother so I obeyed. "Close your eyes" she said as she grabbed my hand and put it on her heart. Strange, there wasn't a heartbeat.
"This water is enchanted with memories from the fallen and forgotten. This is why it is called the Fountain of Truth. Feralla I'm really Alessandra. I am still your mother. Your father knows of my secret and this is why he wouldn't allow you to leave, I knew that this is what would happen only because you share that same flame in my blood. My dear you're a true warrior princess and you deserve happiness." I opened my eyes and sure enough I was crying. "A--Alessandra was really my mother? Y-you're my mother? Why couldn't I see it before?" Because my dear babe you were living in a cold hearted world of denial and hurt. I needed you to gain the courage to believe in yourself and impossibilities. I needed you to trust in a world of magick. "Esmeralda is your aunt really she just had to keep secret of this and that's why she helped you so with very little hints. Also our species of merpeople have a gift of transformation." I gasped, "That's why you left home? You left to protect the kingdom you once ruled and it was in trouble during the Dark Wars... That explains the false life you portray to others...You were trying to protect our family."
She held me tight, "It's now my time darling I must go. You need to stop that demon Ezraketh She's evil. She doesn't know you're here yet but she will find out and she will try to destroy everything. Kyne Lo has all the details Feralla go to him." She kisses me goodbye and takes my necklace and forms a new one with a Oceanic Blue Hibiscus pendant. "In this unbreakable glass it has my heart. Whenever you're feeling lonely or need me. I'll be here. It will only beat when you cry. Because that's when warriors need guidance the most. Is when they've lost everything or feel they've done so." She hugs me tight. "I love you child, and so does Masley. He's a true man and is good for you." She disappears into the fountain of truth, leaving behind my necklace.
"Oh mother.." I kissed my hand and brushed against the surface of the fountain. "I love you too." I put on the necklace and pray by the fountain for strength, Then I run off to the temple of Athena and the Gods of the Sea. "Kyne Lo!" Kyne Lo!" He emerges from the study room,  "Ah I see someone has finally took Alessandra's advice." I smiled, "So what's next?" He opens this big, dusty, and old book. Skimming through some passages,he finds what he is looking for, "Now here we are; The savior is said to have contained the gift of Athena's powers to battle with the strength of 100,000 men, obtain her beautiful looks and grace, and finally her ability to rule the heavens and earth, Also she has power bestowed upon her from the Sea Gods. Quicker than Akareth himself, Smarter than Gargesh, Wiser than Drakensuul. It is said that she would need to drink from the righteous fountain of truth to reveal her true identity and seek out help from a high monk in Gyettas to find her enemy and save the realm. So we must be quick. Follow me into the lab."
There was about 5 different alchemists working on potions, ailments, and elixirs. "They're setting up a care package for your next journey. Now in the study room there's a crystal ball. There we can use a locator spell to find Ezraketh. Now where did I put that spell bottle?" As the monk looked for the bottle I read the spell book. All of a sudden I knew so much about spells and incantations. I began making the locater spell and was finished before Kyne Lo returned. "Well! I'll say you are remarkable! Thank you now come child off to the study room." There was books, so many of them. Father would have loved this, considering his work. He was the scholar to the royals all across the ocean.
