You must remember father we are now considered to be royalty and must follow the rules no matter how skilled we are in breaking them." We both laughed at that last part, "Oh alright I will try my hardest to sew this ol' chop closed. Well my darling daughter I will see you at dinner then. Bul Tak Ammon." He winked at me. "Wait father!" "Yes?" I look at him with a peculiar smile, wondering how in the world did he know that. "How do you know how to speak the language of Divines?" He chuckles, "You think your mother was the only one who was destined for greatness? We will discuss more when the time is right." He walked away smiling. Oh I sure hate it when he leaves me wondering about things. I'll be sure to get no sleep tonight. I laughed to myself.
I sat in the washroom, in a beautiful tub made from glass, metal, and decorated with shells. The water was hot and steaming, and it was ever so relaxing. Masley snuck in, and surprised me greatly. "Enjoying the royal treatment I see." He kissed my forehead. "I surely deserve it don't you think my dear?" He laughs, "You deserve everything in this world that is beautiful and made for a queen such as yourself." I smile at his words. He's become quite the sweet talker I must say. "I'm off to the other washroom to cleanse myself of this journey's filth, if you need me dearest." He walks off into the hallway.
After my bath I dry and wrap myself in silk. Margeitt knocks on the door, "Are you decent?" I quickly put on my undergown. "Yes Margeitt, come in please." She opens the door and brings in a cup of tea. "Here you are your majesty. It's perfect for calming nerves." I sip the warm fruitful tea. "Mm thank you Margeitt, that is very delicious tea. But why on earth would I be nervous?" "Maybe because you've never been in this position before and it is a lot of responsibility, or maybe it's because you have 5,000 people counting you to make the right decision for them?" I gawk, "Oh my yes.. I did not even think about how big this actually is." She laughs "Oh relax dear I'm only try to scare you. It really isn't that bad. Here's something I did for Elle. In order to get to know your people better come up with some ideas for fun community gatherings and such and I can arrange an in house greeting after coronation? How about that?" Smiling, I say "That would be just grand Margeitt. What is an in house greeting to be exact?"
She proceeds to explain to me that an "in-house greeting" is like a meet and greet session. Basically all of the townspeople's information is organized in alphabetical order in a long list. In this case it is first prioritized by status then alphabet. The people will come into the castle and state their name, short introduction about themselves and family and present a gift. In return if they have questions, wishes, or requests I shall grant them. It seemed like a fair idea. I began to get excited about my future as a queen. I was more interested in setting up an army and protection and expanding the empire. However, Margeitt advised me I should first gain the trust of my people before I begin to go straight into business only claims. In this situation she was right.
