A/N Picture of Jessica's new friends and her outfit.
♥JESSICA
After school, I took my car to a garage shop. My baby needed a new paint job. I opened the door as the bell rang. I saw a girl dressed in a blue navy uniform.
"Hi, I'm Kaylee how may I help you?" She asked with a polite smile.
"Yeah, I'm Jessica and I was wondering if I could get a paint job on my car," I tell her as I fill out the clipboard on the counter.
"Yeah sure bring it back the garage door is wide open," she tells me as I nod and drive it to the back. I parked my car where she told me to. I already saw another car in there.
"So what color? The same one?" She asked getting her mask.
"Yeah black please, and whose car is that?" I ask, pointing at the 1971 red Challenger with black detailing on it.
"Oh that's my cousin's car, Annette her car broke down about a day ago and I'm fixing it for her," she says. (Annette is from my other story called I Don't Believe In Love)
"Huh, I guess girls do have badass cars. She's got the same version as my car" I tell her as she gets the paint out.
"Yeah it was her moms until she passed away and I got one of my own 1971 challengers but mine deep green," she said putting the mask on.
"Cool, mind if I look at it?" I ask. She nods and I look at this baby. I mean it's the same car as mine but it looked good in red. I opened it and sat in the seat my eyes landed on a Picture that was placed on the radio. It was a family a mom, a dad, and a little girl. I turn the photo to see the date it was taken 10 years ago. I smile seeing the photo.
The paint job was done pretty quickly. I paid about $500 for it which was cheap. I gave $550 and told her to keep the change. I was surprised that I became her friends with her. We talked a lot after the job was done. She said that maybe one day I can meet her cousin. She said we could even ride challengers together.
I got home to see Mom cooking dinner.
"Hey Mom," I say.
"Hey sweetie dinner will be ready in 35 minutes," She informs me.
"K!" I yell from upstairs. I enter my room and dump my homework. I sigh I hate homework. My parents are always on my a*s to have good grades.
After a while, I finished eating and doing some homework I get a text from Natalie.
Hey girl party at my house tonight
What about your parents?
They left for a trip, come over and have fun with me
Kk be there in an hour bye
Bye
I went to my closet to pick out my outfit. I haven't been to a party in a while. I picked a white crop top, with a black skater skirt, a gold bet with jewelry, and some black heels, and I topped it off with my black leather jacket. I left my makeup from school and put red lipstick on.
I went downstairs to see my mom and dad watching tv together cuddling.
"Hey, Mom and Dad is it okay if I go to Natalie's house she's having a party," I ask them.
"Uh...sure just be back at 1:30 okay?" My dad says looking at my mom for reassurance and she nods.
"Yes Daddy" I walk over and give him a kiss on the cheek, "Thanks," I say grabbing my keys.
"Oh, sweetie!" My mom called out. "Yeah?" I stop in my tracks.
"Be careful, and take the gun. You never know what kind of maniacs are out there," She tells me.
"Okay, I will and thanks again" I go down to the garage and grab the gun and place the gun in my secret pocket inside my jacket. My parents are really cool about letting me go to parties and stuff like that but not all the time. I text Kaylee if she wanted to come with her cousin. I drove off to Natalie's house and then I texted the address to Kaylee. I got a phone call from Natalie.
"Hey, are you coming?!"
"Yes I'm on my way and I invited some friends over is that cool?"
"Yeah, sure see there"
"Ok bye"
Then I hung up.
I waited outside with my best friends for Kaylee and her cousin to arrive. I saw two cars coming up against the curb. It was a red and green challenger. Nine people got out of the car. I see Kaylee coming towards me with the others behind her.
"Jessica, this is my cousin Annette" she pointed at the girl with brown hair.
"That's Emma, Jackie, Tyler, Alex, Marisol, Chris, and Noah" she pointed at them.
"Nice to meet all of you guys, I'm Jessica," I say shaking their hands.
"Well, this is Natalie and Jace my best friends" I point at them as they shake hands too.
"Come inside," I say. I noticed the house was already crazy. Natalie lives in a 2 story house and it's huge. Natalie and Jace ditched us to go party and smoke weed.
"On the other hand, let's go out on top of the roof," I suggested and everyone agreed. We climb the ladder and reach the top of the house. You can still hear the music but not as much. Everyone sat down in a circle and we started talking, getting to know each other.
"I'll be back I'm going to get drinks and food," I say as I climb down and they nod their heads. I climbed down quickly and rushed to the kitchen. I grabbed a six-pack of beer, some tequila with shot glasses, and some chips. I went out the door and climbed the ladder again. When I got up everyone was still talking.
"I'm back, so I brought beer, some tequila, and chips," I say and everyone cheers. Most of us took a beer and start talking about each other. This one guy named Noah was pretty hot and he couldn't keep his eyes off of me.
"So you guys are telling me you guys go to my school?" I ask before taking a shot.
"Yep," they all chuckle and I laugh. What a small world.
"Maybe we should hang out together you know at school," I tell them.
"Sounds like a plan," Kaylee smiled as she poured me another shot.
Tonight's going to be fun.
