A/N Picture of their new house. Half of Jessica's new room and picture of Amy.
♡JESSICA
We arrived at the house. It was beautiful it had nice trees around the house, it was way bigger then our old house. It was painted a nice blue and I loved the windows.
"You like it sweetie?" My mom asked me.
"Yes! It's gorgeous. How did you guys find it?!" I say.
"Well your aunt Ana has a friend and he found us this beautiful house." My mom told me. It was pretty.
We started unloading our stuff. I stepped inside the house and it was huge inside.
"Go find your room." My dad whispered in my ear. I climbed upstairs. I went down the hall and opened the door last one. It was my room. It was huge and it had a restroom inside of it. Oh my god and the closet. It was bigger than my old one.
I was exhausted. I set up my room and helped fix up the house.
"Jessica!" My mother yelled my name.
"Coming!" I say running down the stairs.
I went to the kitchen and sat on the stool. My parents sat down in front of me.
"Your father and I have been talking about something for a long time and it might make you happy." My mom said.
"Okay." That was my answer.
"We decided that you won't be home schooled and we adopted a little girl. We're sorry to drop the bomb on you like this but we've wanted another kid and waited so long for this," My dad announced.
"Are you serious? I'm getting a sister?" I ask them and they nod.
"That's great." I tell them and give them hugs.
"She'll be here tomorrow morning. Her name is Amy and she's 6 years old." My mom said.
"Cool can't wait." I say.
The Next Day
It was 6:30am. My mom woke me up early to get dressed. I groan and go take a shower. I dry myself up and blow dry my hair. Then I curl my hair. I go to my closet and pick a nice white sun dress with some white flats. I did my usual makeup but I did it lighter.
"Jessica!" My dad yelled and I ran down the stairs. We all went outside and hopped in the car. My mom was dressed in a beautiful white dress that hit her ankles and she matched that with brown sandals. My dad was dressed in a gray suit.
We arrived at the foster care home. We got off and knocked on the door. A lady with black hair opened the door. She had brown eyes and was light skinned. She let us in and called Amy's name. Amy ran down the stairs with her cute little suit case.
Amy had brown hair and had white blonde tips on the end of her hair. She had pretty brown eyes. She wore a very cute dress with some converse.
"Amy this is your new family." The lady said. She was shy alright, she hid behind the lady's legs.
"Don't be shy." My dad said bending down on his knees. She walked over to my dad.
"I'm Dean, this is my wife Bethany, and this is our daughter Jessica." My dad introduced us.
"Hi!" She said then ran up to my mom.
"Hi there sugar." My mom said picking her up. She giggled. I thought she was adorable.
"Hi, I'm Jessica your new sister." I said and she hugged me. My dad grabbed her suit case and we left.
When we came back to the house she was amazed. I giggled and took her to her room. She was really happy. Her room was a light purple and had a nice big window for her. Her closet was big like mine, she had a cute little desk, then she had a cute tea table. Her bed had some stuffed animals on it, she had barbie dolls and toys.
In her eyes I saw a happy child. I smiled at how beautiful it was seeing someone else happy. Can't wait to see what happens next. I love seeing her smile.
"Let's have tea!" She said pulling my arm.
"I'll be back, I'm going to bring cookies and snacks!" I tell her as she sequels. I run downstairs and grab some snacks. I make some tea for us too. I go back upstairs and she had some stuffed animals seated on chairs. I poored us some tea and put the cookies and snack on the table.
"Two us." She says lifting her tea cup with her pinky finger out.
"Two us." And we clink out cups together. We talked and laughed. I found out that her favorite color is purple, she loves the out doors, and she's in the first grade.
We laided down on her bed and she was falling asleep. She wrapped her arms around me as I did the same.
I like this change. If it meant for me to have sister then it was meant to be. I love seeing her happy. She has a better life now. She has a family. She has me. I love seeing her like this even though we don't know each that well. I feel like she's changed me already.
She's my new change.
