I don’t like how my life suddenly started to feel like I was riding on a roller coaster. Some day’s life was perfect and I could forget I had problems and other day’s well I remembered I had problems. Today just seemed to be one of my good days.

My name is Caitlin Smith and I’m a werewolf. Wow I bet you’re sitting there with a look of shock on your face. I mean honestly who just blurts crap like that out and if you haven’t figured it out yet I do. I don’t due the word subtle. Well I used to and then I met someone who led me on into a nasty lie. Connor. He’s the one who made me believe that I had found my mate and that mate was him. He is also the reason that after my graduation today I’m taking my best friend Ally, her twin brother, Eric, and my little sister on a trip with me on a trip to forget love.

“Caitlin get your butt down here we’re going to be late.” Ally screamed.

“I’m coming. I’m coming!” I screamed down the stairs.

Believe it or not I am actually really excited for graduation. All my life I've wanted to throw my hat up in the air like they do in the movies and cry because I was finally done with the hell whole I call school. Today is finally that day. I ran down the stairs as fast as my legs could carry me. As soon as my feet touched the ground floor I was off running out the door towards the car. Although on my way there I somehow tripped and found my face pressed to the glass of Ally's car. I groaned as I dramatically fell to the floor causing Ally to laugh at me. Ally's blue eyes lit up as she laughed and her blonde hair moved gently against her tanned skin as she shook her head.

"Just get in the car Kate." She sighed.

I peeled myself off the ground and tried to gracefully place myself in the passenger seat. Ally hoped in and slammed her door shut causing me to smile. If her twin Eric was here right now he would be complaining about how she had hurt the poor baby. Eric looks just like his twin except much taller he was probably about 6'4 and towered over me and Ally by about a foot.

"I am so glad we are done." Ally said with a smile.

"Same here and at least you didn't have to survive all four years of this high school." I replied laughing at the face Ally was making.

Ally and her family had all moved to our small town of Lee Massachusetts in January causing Ally and her brother Eric to start their senior year at my school in the middle. Ally turned on the radio and we both immediately started to scream to the song 22 by Taylor Swift. We received many odd looks as we drove to the field that the graduation would be held.

The squeals of other happy teenagers could be heard throughout the field as Ally and I drove into a spot. All of our friends and families were waiting for us because I had made us late. Only in my defense my alarm didn’t go off. I didn’t spend over a half hour in the bathroom. I probably only spent about ten minutes on makeup and I did my hair last night. I don’t see why girls thought it was attractive to look like they let their younger siblings do their makeup for them because honestly there really is such thing as way too much.

“Katie. Oh Katie. I can’t believe you are graduating high school today.” My mum cried out as she did some weird run tip toe thing to me in heels.

I smiled at her in return not really knowing what to say as a response. She took my smile as an okay to hug me. She pulled me into her arms and it reminded me of my childhood.

"Let's get this show on the road." Eric screamed.

Laughing I followed him and Ally to sit. I didn't get to sit next to Eric and Ally because their last name is Tomson and mine is Smith. I could still see them though because our high school isn't that big we have about a two hundred of us graduating today. The ceremony started almost as soon as the last person sat in their chair. The speeches were long and seemed to go on forever but the stories that were told in them made me laugh. I liked hearing about other peoples high school experiences, even though mine weren't so good until a couple of months ago. Finally names were called. My palms started to sweat so I had to wipe them on my gown. I didn't want to make a fool of myself. In the recent months I had finally gained my classmates respect and falling would probably make them think twice about why they gave it to me. I even patched up my relationship with my sister Taylor. I couldn't afford to lose that.
