When I arrived at the car I wasn't shocked to see Eric in the front seat; with a childish grin on his face. With a small giggle on how ridicules he was I tapped the door with my foot so someone would either roll down the window and take the food or open the door so I could get in. Eric rolled down his window and like a little kid only took his drink and food. Taylor on the other side rolled the window down and grabbed the drinks so I could get into the car.

"I seriously hate how much they make you pay in Starbucks," I said.

"Seriously! I better be drinking liquid gold right now or I'll be pissed," Taylor cried dramatically.

"Oh my god I know I better poop put gold at the next rest stop," Ally said.

The car became silent as we all looked at her.

"No. Just no," Eric said shaking his head as he reversed out of the parking spot.

"You literally just murdered that joke right there," I sighed.

Ally blushed a bright red and we all laughed on her expense. The traffic seemed to go by slow as I just stared out the window. We were heading to Montana. I don't know really why we chose to go there but it seemed like it would be pretty and we'd have enough wilderness to run. My wolf was dying to go for a run and I'm sure the others wolves felt the same way. The conversation was kept to a minimal as the trees started to blur by on the highway. Instead of stopping at a hotel to save us money we decided to switch off driving. It's about a thirty hour drive so we'd all get a decent amount of sleep between stops. Roughly we'd all be driving for a straight seven and a half hours only stopping to eat and to pee.

As it grew dark it was Taylor's turn to drive so we pulled over into a rest stop.

"Alright we'll meet back at the car in five minutes. This is not a food break it's a do your business and go sort of stop," Eric said sleepily.

We nodded at him and walked to the bathroom all just happy to stretch our legs. We all made it back to the car around the same time. I plopped myself into the backseat feeling tired. As Taylor pulled away from the rest stop I felt my eyelids fall to a close. I awoke to Ally's complaints of being woken up way too early to drive. Seeing as she was in the front seat I assumed that we must have stopped somewhere. I stared silently out the window at the rising sun. It lit the sky up in light purples, pinks, and oranges.

'How long till we get there?" I asked.

"You'll probably be the one who pulls into Montana. So probably in fifteen or sixteen hours," Eric replied.

"What are we even going to do?" I asked.

"I don't think there really is much to do. We'll eat some food get a decent motel and let our wolves run. Then we'll go," Eric said.

"Ohh a real bed sounds nice right now," I groaned.

"Yeah it really does," he replied.

The conversation was kept light throughout the day. We told jokes and sang along to the radio. Around dusk I hopped into the driver seat and began the last eight hours into Montana. Ally was passed out behind me and Taylor looked like she could sleep any minute now. Eric was the only one who looked awake but he was playing on his phone. At night the drive was peaceful there was no mindless chatter or tremendous amounts of traffic. I tried to entertain myself in the silence. So I counted the signs we passed after about twenty I gave up. Driving in silence was extremely boring. Eric had gone to sleep an hour ago. The lucky bastard.

It was around two in the morning when I saw the welcome to Montana sign. I giggled to myself quietly as I tried to slow down a little to make it so Taylor and I were in Montana while Eric and Ally were still in North Dakota. I seriously was like a little kid and it probably didn't help that I was tired. I turned off the highway into a gas station and woke up Eric he would drive into the middle of Montana which would take about four hours.
