Waking up that morning the one thing going through my mind was damn that was a decent table. I had half expected to be have woken up to the table collapsing. The table was probably the only thing of worth in the whole room. Sleep still lingered but I wasn't chancing another second on that damn table. I hurriedly slipped off the table hearing it squeak as it moved. I looked over at Taylor's face as slept and smiled as she let out a loud snore. I felt pretty bad for her. She was probably exhausted but I seriously wanted to leave so I started to pound on the wall hoping I’d wake her and Aly and Eric up if they weren't already.

From the paper thin walls I could hear the groans of Aly and Eric. Smiling I looked over at Taylor. The smile left my face as soon as I realized that she was still sleeping soundly and hadn't even moved an inch. Sighing I grabbed her arm and shook her awake. Sighing I got really close to her ear and said "If you get up now then I'll make Eric stop at dunkies".

At the thought of coffee Taylor hoped off the table and gave me a sleepy smile. Moving my head towards the door we both grabbed our pillows and bags and raced for the door. Neither one of us wanted to be in that room for another second. Taylor made it out the door first but only because she shoved me to the side.

"I better be getting that coffee," Taylor mumbled.

"Maybe he'll let me drive and then he has no choice," I whispered back.

Eric and Ally were still in their room when Taylor and I left our room so we just sat by the car and waited for them. The air was already warm and it was only eight in the morning. Today was going to be hot and we were going to be stuck in the car most of the day.  Our destination is California but we are going to stop at every state on the way there.

Deciding to go check out so we could leave as soon as we were all ready I set off for the office practicing my lines of how nice the motel was as I went.

"Oh darling how was your stay?" the sweet women from the other night asked me.

"It was wonderful," I smiled hoping that it didn't look fake.

"That's good to hear she said smiling. Now may I have the room keys?"

"Of course but I just have one my friends will give you theirs when they're done packing. If that is okay with you?"

"That's no problem at all have a nice trip and thank you for staying".

Turning my back to her I let my smile fall. This was by worse the worst motel I had ever been to but I felt so awful admitting to that because of the sweet old woman who ran it. When I got back to the car I noticed Taylor was still waiting outside of it, our bags by her feet.

"What's taking them so long?" I sighed.

"Did you even wake them up?"

"Well yea. I think I did," I told her.

"Go knock on the door I don't feel like sitting here forever and I really really want a coffee," she mumbled a small frown on her face.

Nodding I walked back over to their door and knocked on the door until finally Eric opened it. The look of impatience on his face told me that Ally was probably taking forever trying to do something.

"She wants to move the table back but I told her to just leave it".

"Why aren't you helping her? Cause I want to leave this place,' I questioned.

"Fine," he grumbled but before he walked away I said "OH can I have the keys to put the bags in the car?"

"Sure," he said tossing me the keys from out of his pocket.

Smiling internally I walked away from the room and unlocked the doors for Taylor. Taylor looked over shock in her eyes.

"He seriously is going to let you drive?" she called.

"I didn't ask to drive I just asked for the keys," I smirked.

"He's going to be pissed," she said laughing lightly.

Giggling along with her I agreed.

Quickly before they left their room we hoped in to the fronts seats and cranked the AC. We waited another two minutes before the door to their room slowly creaked open revealing Ally and Eric, who looked pissed that I was in the front seat of his car. He grumbled something to Ally but with the AC and the music on I couldn't hear, though whatever it was it must have been funny because Ally was laughing.

Leaning out the window I yelled "Go turn your key into the lady because we already did."

Grumbling Eric took off.

"Why do you want to drive?" Ally questioned getting into the back seat.

"I want to stop for coffee and you know he won't let us," I shrugged.

"You are a genius I was trying to convince him to stop while we moved the table back to the wall and he kept telling me no."

Eric came back pouting slightly when he looked and saw me still sitting in the front seat. Like a child he stomped his foot and hoped into the back seat crossing his arms. When he was buckled up I pulled out of the drive way turning on to the highway. Seeing a sign for Starbuck I prepared to get off.

"No we are not stopping," Eric said from the back.

"Look who's driving," I said with a smile.

Eric glared at me and huffed in annoyance. Shrugging I turned back to the road and pulled into the parking lot.

"What does everyone want?"

Taylor and Ally hurriedly gave me their orders but Eric just stared at me.

"Eric you can drive,' I sighed.

With a small smile Eric looked at me like a kid on Christmas and gave me his order.

"Damn child," I muttered under my breath as I went to stand in the ridiculously long line in Starbucks.  I tapped my foot impatiently as I waited for my order to be made but I did feel bad for the lady she had to make four drinks and ring up all the food and gum I had.

The lady called out my name and smiled at me as I retrieved my drinks.

"Thank you have a nice day," she called to me as I left.
