Chapter 7: A Glimpse

I was walking down a path lit with fairy lights, while the night breeze blew the tendrils of hair that escaped from my ponytail.

I was wearing the most beautiful dress I've ever seen. It was in my favorite color: pale blue. The top is lacy, with tiny sparkles all over it, and the skirt is long and flowy.

As I continue to walk, I could hear a familiar tune that played faintly.

You're the one who never lets me sleep,
To my mind down to my soul
You touch my lips...

At the end of the path was a beautiful garden, brightly lit with lamp posts and crafted lanterns. There was a huge arc in the shape of a heart made of flowers in the middle, and it was also embellished with lights. My heart skipped a beat at the sight of him, standing in the middle and looking dapper in a suit. He smiled at me — that smile which took my breath away so many times. I could feel the butterflies again, fluttering around in my belly.

I'm in ecstasy...

I now realize where the music came from, because upon seeing him, I also saw three men — one was playing the violin, one was playing the piano, and the other a giutar.

My days are dark without a glimpse of you,

And I can see...

As I drew closer, he took me by the hand and pulled me closer to him, until I was finally in his arms. We didn't say a thing, instead, we started swaying to the rythm of the song. I caught a wiff of his body wash, perfume, and the scent that solely belonged to him. It was heavenly, one that I would want to breathe in everyday.

I was so lost in the moment. I felt blissfully happy. I only wished that time would stop, and we would be like this forever.

I feel the chill inside.

"Tiffany," he said.

I looked up at him when he said my name. He still had that beautiful smile on his face, as he regarded me intently.

"Yes?" I asked.

"I wanted to tell you something..." He trailed off. I could sense he wanted to tell me something important, but he seemed hesitant.
