Taiwan's POV

There was a clear path for us to walk in. Japan's senses made us avoid it as we walked through the bamboo forests of the remains of China. I frowned at the memory, but I shrugged the feeling of sadness off and looked up. "This is where China-Kun found me," Japan said and stopped walking. Setting his katana to the ground piercing a piece of bamboo with it.

I nodded. He stayed silent for one moment and put away his katana and continued walking. I looked straight in front of me for anything suspicious happening. Of course, there had to be something that popped up. There was.

Italy was trying to convince Hong Kong, who became the Asian Elder since China was dead, to join the Axis Powers. Italy was very good at influencing people, so I was a bit scared. I hid behind a group of bamboo and overheard the conversation.

"...You-a know. We-a could make you-a stronger and-a supply army forces to the-a countries in need!" Italy exclaimed. Hong Kong was silent. Japan clenched his fists and took out his katana, giving a cold glare at Italy as the grip on his katana tightened. He stepped out from hiding from the bamboo as I did the same.

"Oh! Look who-a came to-a join us! You just in-a time!" Italy exclaimed and clapped his hand with a creepy look on his face. Japan ignored it and I stared at Hong Kong in confusion. "Don't do it," I mouthed to him. "I know," Hong Kong mouth. I smiled at stared back at Italy.

"You know, you-a East Asians have-a something alike. All are-a weak. That's why you should-a take our offer, Hong-a Kong," Italy said and smiled softly at Hong Kong. He soon nodded. My eyes widened as I felt like punching Italy on the face, Japan held me back. Italy laughed. "So, it's a deal?" Italy asked excitingly, putting out a hand. Hong Kong reached for it, making the deal.

Only to shock his hand with a joy buzzer.

Japan half grinned. Italy fell to the ground on his knees in shock, literally. I couldn't help but laugh at his facial expression when he was in shock. I noticed that he held a pocket knife in his hand. He was about to stab him. Maybe his plan was to stab them one by one.

I shuddered at the thought. Japan put a hand on my shoulder. I looked at him and smiled. I looked at Hong Kong who bowed in thanks, we did the same. I pulled out my walkie talkie and spoke in it. "Hungary! Do you copy? We knocked out Italy unconscious!" I exclaimed in the walkie talkie. There was static before it wasn't long when she replied.

"Okay. Meet at zhe place vith him zhere. Try your best to pin him dovn vhen he vakes up. Over," Hungary said. I turned it off as Japan and I carried the body of Italy. He was okay since he was just shocked. We returned to the center of the battlefield after a long trip from the bamboo forest.

We made it back at it was still sunrise. Japan had put Italy in handcuffs and tied him to a tree as well as emptying out all his pocket knives. He had exactly 20 in there. Japan handed ten to me and he had ten for himself. We waited patiently for the European countries to come back with Germany knocked out unconscious. Though we had to stay here and wait, since Italy could wake up any time.

"Hey, Japan?" I called him with his name. "Hm?" He asked. I had put my hand on top of his and slightly blushed. "Y-You know, when everything is back to normal. Maybe, we can be...a thing? O-Of course I'm waiting for your opinion and if you say no it's fine," I said. Japan's eyes widened slightly. He had a full smile on his face.

"Why wait when everything is normar?" Japan asked. He suddenly intertwined his fingers with mine. I looked at him with my slight blush full-on red. "Wh-What do you mean?" I asked him. A small chuckle escaped Japan's mouth as he scooted closer to me.

"Y-You know, I was wondering? When can I...kiss you?" Japan asked, nervously. I bit my bottom lip and looked at his brown eyes. I could tell that he was serious, he wasn't joking or anything. Then again, Japan usually doesn't joke when it comes to serious times like this. Then I looked around and at Italy, who looked like he wouldn't wake up in a long time. So it was just Japan and I.
