"Alexa... Alexa... Please wake up."

Bright white lights sting Alexa's eyes as she opens them. She looks around for the voice calling her and telling her to wake up but she finds nobody. Not a single soul is in the room with Alexa. She frowns, "that was strange." she thinks to herself. That's when she remembers what had happened. Sitting up in the uncomfortable hospital bed, her body aches. The tears stream down her face, she climbs out of the bed and runs out of the room. She runs to the front desk desperately calling for Lyndsey. "Lynn! Oh God, Lyndsey!"

"Alexa... I... I'm sorry but she passed away 3 hours ago."

Alexa shook her head, refusing to believe the words spilling from the woman's mouth. "No, no, no, she's alive... She has to be alive." she screams, her body shaking with sobs and her voice hoarse from all the screaming she'd done earlier. "I'm sorry." the woman sends a look of concern towards the girl crying in front of her. "S-she can't b-be dead. I-I love her." Alexa cries.

Lynn sits in the cold room where her lifeless body rests. All around her bodies in much the same way as hers are lying on cold, hard surfaces. She studies her own body, gently dragging her fingers over her cold skin and resting them on her cheek. She looks at the multiple bruises and deep wounds all over her naked body and she sighs, finally happy that she's not stuck in that living hell anymore.

She remembers being chased after by Alexa who she hadn't spoken to in months. Alexa seemed desperate to talk to her but she was too determined to finally end her life to stop. Alexa chased her until she finally found a car speeding towards her. She stepped out in front of it when it was just a metre in front of her. The car had broken her spine the second it made impact on her.

She also remembered hearing Alexa crying over her limp body. She felt Alexa's hands gripping her so tightly the medics had trouble pulling her away. She remembered hearing Alexa tell her that she loved her, she called Lyndsey baby and sobbed like a child into Lynn's broken body.

And now Lynn was here, finally happy, but feeling guilty. Happy was a feeling Lyndsey hadn't felt in a long time, but guilt was something she felt quiet often. Right now she was guilty for taking her life in front of Alexa, she was guilty for leaving her behind, she was guilty for leaving the burden of killing somebody on the man who's car she'd stepped in front of, she was guilty for making her family endure the pain of losing her and having to plan a stupid funeral she didn't want.

Alexa is now in the arms of her sister Sam. Sam had been close to Lyndsey even after Alexa and Lynn's breakup. And Lynn's death now had Sam distraught. Hearing that it was a suicide made it even worse for Sam. She thought Lyndsey was doing okay. Plus, Alexa has no idea that it was a suicide and she has no choice but to tell her the truth. Before she can calm herself down enough to tell her sister the truth, the doctor that dealt with Lynn's injuries comes in. His pristine white coat gives off a sort of aura when Alexa looks at him. The tears in her eyes blur everything up and makes it hard for her to see properly.

"Would you like to say your goodbyes?"

Alexa's mind refuses to understand his words. She's not dead, she's alive. She's fine, she's okay. Alexa looks at her sister. "She's not dead," she whispers. "She's fine."
