It had been almost a month since Lynn passed away. She was constantly being pushed and pulled, back and forth between her new world and the real one. She'd followed Alexa home and was currently living in Alexa's TV to keep herself in the real world. It was a lot of work for Lynn to hold onto the world where Alexa existed. Because Alexa didn't believed enough that Lynn was still there.

Lately Alexa had been very sick. She'd started using drugs and drinking away her pain. One night Lynn even witnessed Alexa drawing patterns on her skin with a razor blade. It tore Lynn to shreads inside but there wasn't a thing she could do about it.

Alexa was still very torn up about losing Lynn. She knew there was a way she could see Lynn but that meant taking her life. Alexa was scared of not being successful and being stuck here so instead she abused herself and hoped that one day it'd finally be enough to kill her.

Every so often she'd see Lynn in the reflection of her mirror or her windows, she'd hear Lynn calling her name and telling her it'd all be okay and to hold on for a little while longer, her TV was always doing the strange staticy thing that the hospital TV had done before she left. She thought it was the effects of the drugs and the alcohol most of the time but sometimes when she was clean and sober it'd happen. It confused her and made her feel like she was loosing her mind but somewhere deep down inside her she knew that she wasn't crazy.

She often felt Lynn's presence and it comforted her, but it still confused the hell out of her and sometimes even scared her. But still, she was a mess. She wished everyday that Lyndsey was here with her in the flesh. She wished she could hug Lynn, hold her hand, kiss her, tell her she loves her or even just look at her. All she had was photos and one of Lynn's jackets that she'd taken from her apartment after the funeral to remind her.

When she'd walked into the apartment she'd also found Lynn's old sketch book and a book full of lyrics Lynn had written which she'd taken and had been holding onto every night since.

Lynn pulls herself from the horrible void she spent most of her time in lately. The first thing she sees is Alexa passed out on her bedroom floor cuddling Lyndsey's favorite jacket.

"Alexa... You're gonna get sick sleeping on the floor." Lynn whispers, knowing Alexa can't hear her anyway. It was frustrating but she knew that the girl was aware she was there. Sometimes she was skeptical but she knew that Lynn was there.

Just as Lyndsey starts to let herself go, tired of holding onto the world Alexa was holding onto for the time being, Alexa stirs. Lynn's eyes widen and she fights with all her power. Inside her head it feels like a demon is clawing it's way through, pulling on nerves and punching her flesh from the inside. But she screams and keeps trying.

Alexa was passed out, coming down from her high when she heard Lyndsey's voice in the distance. She forced herself to wake up and listened to the girl tell her she'd get sick if she slept on the floor. And as if she was right there with her she hears Lynn scream. It was similar to the scream she'd heard leave Lyndsey's mouth when she'd walked in front of the car. She was in pain and it made panic rise up in Alexa's throat.

She sits up and her eyes widen at the sight in front of her. The TV screen illuminates the whole room with a bright white light and the centre is Lyndsey's face. She's holding her head and her mouth is opened in a silent scream. She thrashes around clutching her head and silently screaming as Alexa watches.

"Lynn.."

Suddenly as if the image on the TV heard her, it stops screaming and looks at her.

"Alexa! ... Please help me."

Before she can open her mouth the TV flickers and blacks out. She sits on the floor completely speechless.

Was I dreaming?
Am I still high?
That was Lyndsey..
In my TV?
But how?

Her thoughts are immediately cut off by a loud static noise as the TV flickers back on. Lyndsey's face once again fills the TV screen and Alexa crawls over to it. She notices that Lynn's eyes are different. The whites are missing and are replaced with a smokey grey that looks to be swirling around like actual smoke would.

"Lynn?"

"Lex, I need you to help me. I'm losing myself in here."

Lynn's voice is heaven to Alexa's ears. Tears stream down her face as she places her hand on the screen where Lynn's cheek is.

She rips her hand away as she feels soft flesh under her palm. Lynn smiles at her and gently places her own hand against the TV.

"It's okay... Just put your hand on mine. Please Lex." Lyndsey begs.

Alexa hesitantly places her hand against Lynn's. She gasps as she feels warm skin under her hand. She watches Lynn's lips curl into a smile. Her other hand reaches up to touch the glass on the other side and she feels Lynn's other hand do the same on the other side.

"I just need you to believe in me Lex, help me. Give me something worth holding on to. I'm losing myself. I don't want to leave you." Lynn's sweet voice fills Alexa's mind and sends warm sparks through her body.

"I won't let you go." Alexa whispers as the image of Lynn flickers.

"I'll be back soon okay? Please be safe. I need to rest." Lyndsey smiles at the now bright eyed Alexa in front of her who nods in response as Lynn closes her eyes and drifts off.

Alexa feels her heart racing in her chest as she watches Lynn close her eyes. "Wait!" she shouts. "I.. I love you." suddenly she feels silly for telling a TV screen that she loves it. But the beautiful image of Lynn smiles and opens it's mouth to respond before it disappears and is replaced by loud static causing Alexa to cover her ears and groan.

"I know it's chemicals,
(That make me cling to you, cling to you)
And I need a miracle,
(I gotta stay with you, stay with you)
And I'm not spiritual,
(But please stay)
'Cause I think you're a saint,
And I think you're an angel,

I said ooh, ooohh,
You give me something to talk about,
Something to talk about,
I said ohh, ooohh,
You give me something to think about,
That's not the shit in my head."
