"I know you're hurting and it must be hard for you, we're all hurting... But we know she meant the world to you. You told us multiple times that she was your first love and... Well none of us can imagine how hurt you are over it. But Lex you have to let it go. She's gone."

Alexa sighs and hits the delete button on her phones message bank. She'd listened to voice mail after voice mail about how Lyndsey was gone and how she should let it go. This time it was Lynn's band mates, Brian and Alex telling her to let go. But she wasn't gone, she was perfectly fine and Lex wasn't about to listen to anyone.

"Hey beautiful."

A pair of soft lips touched Alexa's neck causing her to smile.

"You're home.. Where'd you run off to for so long?" Lyndsey's soft voice questions.

"Oh... I uh... Lynn they... They think I'm crazy." Alexa croaked as she ran her fingers through her hair.

"You're not crazy Lex... But why did you tell Sam about me?" Lynn mumbled, listening to Alexa's thoughts.

"She asked about the hickeys and she wanted to know who made them... I can't lie to her." Alexa's voice started to crack with the last few words.

"Hey now, baby don't cry." Lyndsey's soft voice comforted.

Alexa stood with Lyndsey behind her. Her eyes filled with hot tears as she stared down at the answering machine.

"What if... Lexy, call Sam. Tell her to come over now." Lynn prompted.

"But it's almost midnight Lynn." Alexa reminded the beautiful spirit.

"Please Lex I have to go in a few hours."

"Fine..." Alexa sighed softly as she picked up her phone and called Sam.

"Hey Sam it's Lex."

"Hey Lexy what's up?"

"Um can you can you come over as soon as possible?"

"Why, what's happened?"

"Nothing, I just want some company."

"Um... Yeah okay I'll see you in about 20 minutes."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye."

Alexa hung up her phone and turned around. Lyndsey wasn't standing behind her anymore.

"Lynn?" Alexa called, worry filling her voice.

"I'm in the kitchen Lex." Lynn called back, smiling at the sound of the unnecessary worry in Alexa's voice.

At least she worries.
It's cute but I wish she wouldn't.

"Hey babe, I've been meaning to ask you, did you write on my paper yesterday or something?" Alexa questioned Lynn. "I don't remember writing 'fire escape' or 'beautiful'."

"Yeah... Sorry Lex."

"It's okay."

Alexa reached out and took Lyndsey's hand in her own before making her way to the living room.

"Let's watch a movie." Alexa insisted as Lynn sat on the couch smiling.

"Sure."
