Alexa sat watching a transparent outline slowly morph into the girl she'd watched commit suicide a month ago. The outline sat in the far corner of her room with it's hands on it's head and a white glow emitting from it. Alexa wasn't scared, she would be if she hadn't encountered Lyndsey the night before though.
Lynn woke up from the void feeling stronger then ever and decided to try something she hadn't since she died. She pulled her spirit from the television she'd spent all of her time in and sat in the corner of Alexa's bedroom. She could hear Alexa somewhere in the room but she was struggling a little to stop the ear piercing ringing in her head right now. Right when she was about to turn back to the TV she heard Alexa's pleading voice.
"Lyndsey, please stay."
Alexa stood up from the bed and walked towards the washed out spirit in the corner. It looked at her and started to gain some colour. The red oversized T-shirt with the number 65 printed in large, white blocks on the front got brighter, the long, white knee high socks with two thick, black lines around the top of each of them faded into colour, her hair took on the familiar brown, her lips got brighter and her skin grew tanner. Suddenly it was like Lyndsey was standing there in the flesh.
Alexa smiled at the beautiful girl in front of her and reached a hand out. Lynn took hold of the hand and Alexa shivered at the cold touch. Lynn's hand felt so real, so much like real flesh that it was hard to believe she was really just a ghost.
When Lynn took hold of Alexa's hand she felt a surge of power and a sense of comfort for the first time in a long time. And she was surprised to see that Alexa didn't flinch away like last time.
"It must be strange for her." Lyndsey thought.
"Beautiful." Alexa whispered as the spirit smiled at her.
"I've missed you." Lyndsey's voice cuts through the staticy air and enters Alexa's ears. She smiles internally as Lyndsey's hand squeezes hers. It'd been so long since they'd been together but neither of them could think of anything to say. They just stood looking at each other, smiling and holding hands like old times.
For what seemed like three hours to Alexa but what Lynn knew was only three minutes, they stood and looked at each other. But Lynn broke the silence in fear of becoming weak soon and not getting to speak to Alexa properly.
"I noticed those... On your arm... Why? Lex please never do that again."
Alexa stood looking at her arm covered in old and new cuts while Lyndsey's finger gently caressed her hand. Lynn could see she was on the verge of tears so she decided to give her something to smile about instead.
Just like the first time, Lyndsey wraps her arms around Alexa's increasingly skinny frame and plants her lips against Alexa's. More power spreads through out Lyndsey's body as Alexa's lips move against hers.
Alexa's hands rest of Lynn's hips and a strong urge to pick up her tiny frame and run around screaming "I love Lyndsey Gunnulfsen." washes over her.
Before Alexa can think about what she's doing, she has Lynn in her arms bridal style. Lynn looks up at Alexa as their lips crash together again. Alexa makes her way to the bed and gently puts the girl down.
Without breaking the kiss, Lynn flips them over so that Alexa is under her. The kiss lasts a few minutes before Lynn pulls away and looks down at the flustered Alexa amusedly.
"Oh my... God." Alexa's voice is husky and Lynn can hear the lust seeping through.
"Sssssh." Lynn's finger connects with Alexa's lips and hushes her. Slowly, Lynn leans down and presses her soft lips to Alexa's jugular.
Alexa's emotions and hormomes run wild as she feels Lyndsey's lips on her neck. She physically can't move or speak under Lynn's touch but she doesn't care. Instead her insides do backflips and her heart beats rapidly. It beats faster as Lyndsey's lips begin to mark her. With every little hickey left Alexa tries to moan but Lynn has a hold of her mind, telling her not to make a sound or to move.
....
"You're so beautiful." Lyndsey whispers into Alexa's ear. She still had a hold of Alexa's mind but she was listening to her thoughts. They both were exhausted and Lynn was ready to slip away from Alexa for the night. She was tired and needed her rest but she didn't want to leave.
Lynn sat up behind Alexa's sleeping body and watched as she stirred at the loss of Lyndsey's contact. "I'll be back tomorrow night." Lynn whispered to the sleeping girl tangled in sheets barely covering her naked body.
Alexa dreamed that Lynn stood up while she was asleep and told her she'd be back tomorrow night. To Alexa that was a nightmare and she woke up to Lyndsey watching her sleep. Her naked body's colour was fading and Alexa's heart broke a little.
"Please don't leave," Alexa whispers. "I need you here."
Lyndsey's eyes met Alexa's and she whispered back. "I'll be back tomorrow night my love." before she looked towards the slightly ajar faux wooden blinds letting in slithers of light.
Alexa watched Lyndsey leave her for another day. Her mixed emotions made it hard to find the right emotion to cling to. A mix of anger, sadness and happiness spread over her but none of the stayed longer than 30 seconds before changing to the next.
Alexa's eyes caught the soft sunrise seeping through the blinds and she sighed. She had a burning hate for the day time inside of her right now and she longed for Lyndsey to be with her again. And it'd only been a few seconds without her presence.
Alexa sighs and closes her eyes in exhaustion. "I love you." she whispers before drifting off once again.
Our eyes fighting the light,
But I'm not ready to say "good night".
I try and hold on tight 'cause it's just not time to say "good night".
Say good night. These eyes are closed again for yet another night.
I wake up and I can feel you by my side,
But I can't find you in the dark when you're so far.
Yeah that's the hardest part.
Here comes the hardest part.
