I was in my room just taking in everything that was happening and is about to happen. I looked myself in the mirror. I was wearing the necklace that grandfather gave me, and I was still wearing my green birthday dress but my hair was messy and I was bare footed. for some reason I feel much comfortable with bare feet.

Then Arwen came in, I bowed down and she said "Don't bow down my dear, you're the chosen one. We bow down to you." as she bowed down.

She went closer to me and put a black cloak on my shoulder and locked it in front, my first own cloak. "It's my gift. Hopefully it'll keep you away from danger." she said.

"Thank you." I told her with a smile.

Soon we went downstairs where I found my family waiting for me to leave, my mother smiled at me and pulled me into a tight embrace. She whispered "You will do great Ella, I know you will." She pulled away and she kissed my forehead, my dad did the same and he said "Stay away from boys, your beauty will shine very bright in Middle-Earth." I chuckled and said "Father... I can run fast, jump high and maybe some other stuff I haven't discover yet, and you think I have time for boys?" my father patted my head and said "Now that's my girl."

I faced my sister and she was frowning, I hugged her but she didn't hug me back and she whispered in my ear that made me tensed "I hope you die there." I pulled away and kept my smile.

I faced grandfather and Arwen and let out a sigh. "I'm ready." I said.

Grandfather led the way and Arwen was behind me, guarding my back.

Soon we were in the forest, my cloak was covering half of my face, Grandfather wanted to keep me hidden. Then grandfather looked around mumbled a few words in elvish and a portal appeared in front of us.

My eyes widen, but grandfather smiled and said "Now keep your eyes close until you can feel grass on your feet." me and Arwen were the first ones to enter in the portal. My heart was beating fast as I started approaching the portal.

My life was about to change. And it's a change that I can fully welcome.

A few minutes later I felt soft grass on my feet, I smell the air around me and it smelt like newly cut grass and rich Oak. I slowly opened my eyes and the sight just took my breath away.

Middle-earth was amazing, trees surrounded me and I could see eagles flying in the sky, and the wind gently blew. Even though it's just the wind it felt completely different than the wind I'm used to.

"Welcome to Middle Earth Ella!" Grandfather said as he looked beyond and smiled while leaning on his staff. I smiled widely and spun around with my arms spread out. Cherishing this moment, it was a moment I've often dreamed of. A moment I thought would never come true but here I was now. Standing in the world that I have always imagined, always dreamed, and always loved.

"You two go on ahead, I'll catch up." grandfather said through chuckles. Arwen had a sneaky smirk on her face. She faced me and asked "First one there wins?"

"And what does the winner get?" I asked.

"Gets to tell the loser what to do." she said.

"You're on!" I shouted.

"Just keep going straight and don't stop for anything." Arwen said as she dashed off. I soon rushed after her, as soon as we were in the forest we jumped from tree to tree.

Arwen and I were laughing and giggling as I was running through the forest and looked around, Middle Earth is better than I expected.

And I didn't even noticed that I caught up with Arwen and passed her, I looked straight up ahead and I was running straight off a cliff.

I stopped before I could fall, I looked down and it was a long drop. "I guess you won." Arwen said as she quietly appeared behind me.

I looked on the right side right off the cliff and saw a breath taking kingdom, It was glowing from its beauty and it shined even bright from the sun and the waterfall sparkles as it hit the bottom.

Arwen whispered "Welcome to Rivendell!" I smiled like never before.
