"We must reach Lothlorien quickly then." Aragorn said strongly before walking away.
He became our leader, he was the strongest of us all, and so he lead us out the mountains and through many hills. We did not rest, we could not rest, no. Not until we reach the woods of Lothlorien.
We were walking for days and my heart just couldn't take it anymore. I broke down to my knees and Legolas who was at the way back keeping watch as usual came up to me and said "Ella we have to keep moving." Tears pour down my face and I cried out " I can't." Legolas helped me up as if I were light as a feather.
"Maybe Lady of the forest can help you." Legolas whispered in my ear, of course! Lady Galadriel can help me.
We had managed to make it to the woods of Lothlorien within a few hours after running from the mines of Moria. It was quiet, the only sound that could be heard was the creaking of trees, and the steady wind, that was until Gimli had to break the silence.
"Stay close young hobbits! They say that a great sorceress lives in these woods an elf-witch of terrible power all who look upon her fall under her spell." Gimli grunted out to Frodo and Sam. "And are never seen again." Gimli said again tightening his grip on his ax. "Well here's one dwarf she won't ensnare so easily I have the eyes of a hawk and the ears of a fox." Gimli finished then came to a stop as he was surrounded by arrows.
I quickly looked around and saw that everyone was also surrounded by elves baring arrows.
"The dwarf breathes so loud we could have shot him in the dark." An ellon, with long light hair, said as he approached the fellowship. "I am Haldir of Lorien... and you will follow me." Haldir said as he walked away.
Haldir had escorted us to what was a patrol platform, it was nightfall. All was glowing bright as the sky was growing dark. There we were surrounded by many elves.
"A--Aragorn in Dunedain...istannen le ammen." Haldir said as he looked towards Aragorn.
Aragorn quickly thanked Haldir for this comment and I heard Gimli shuffle a bit behind us.
"So much for the legendary courtesy of the Elves! Speak words we can all understand!" Gimli demanded angrily.
"We have not had dealings with the dwarves since the dark days." Haldir spoke bitterly to Gimli.
"And you know what that Dwarf says to that? Ishkhaqwi ai durugnul." Gimli said with great disgust.
Aragorn quickly put a hand on Gimli's shoulders and said. "That was not so courteous."
Haldir glared at Gimli for a while and then he glanced over to Frodo and frowned. "You bring great evil with you."
"You can go no further." Haldir stated as he walked away.
Aragorn followed Haldir and debated with him on whether or not we go further or not. I watched intently as Haldir sighed and agreed to allow us to go further.
"You will follow me, especially you Ella the the chosen one. Lady of the forest has been waiting for years to see you." Haldir said quickly before walking off.
Everyone quickly got up and followed him and several of his guardsman. We walked for hours but when the sun was beginning to rise Haldir stopped and looked off a cliff side.
"Caras Galadhon... The heart of Elvendom on earth.... Realm of the Lord Celeborn and of Galadriel, Lady of Light." Haldir spoke with much pride in his voice as he looked at his home land. It was so beautiful. It took my breath away just like Rivendell did. Grandfather has been talking to me about this forest but I never thought it would be this beautiful.
