"Thank you guys so much, I will see you later." I told them as they all left.
"Don't forget to tell us every last detail on Monday." Savannah ordered and I nodded and shut the door.
"Mom, when does the company for dad's dinner come over?" I asked her.
"8ish, why?" She was starting to get ready.
"Calum's going to get me in 15 minutes, I may or may not get back in time." I yelled back.
"Do you want me to answer the door?" she asked.
"No it's all good." I told her waiting anxiously by the door.
"His car pulled up and I grabbed all my items and waited for him to knock on my door.
Knock Knock
"That's him, bye mom." I called out and opened the door.
Hi." He said, he must've just showered because his hair was still wet.
My mom peaked her head into the hallway, "Ooh is that him?" my mom asked.
"Yes mom, bye." I groaned trying to leave.
"OOh, he's cute." She called out as I shut the door.
"I got you pink roses instead." He told me handing the beautiful flowers over.
"Aw thanks." I said and hugged him.
He opened my door and closed it after I got in, then he quickly ran to his side and got situated.
"To the Yeild!" He shouted and turned the radio on and let the music fill the background.
"You didn't have to push that guy over flowers." I told him.
"Yeah I just got pissed off." He muttered and sped up.
"Hey, there's a English project coming up, and since you haven't been here, we could maybe work together?" I asked.
"Yeah." He smiled and started to get back to the right speed.
"Alright cool, it's children books." I smiled.
"What the fuck?" He sounded confused.
"Yeah, we make children books and then we read them to the class and then we read them to a bunch of kids." I told him and he nodded.
"Have you already started?" He asked and I nodded.
"We can fill you in on Monday." I told him.
"Okay, cool." he smiled and parked.
"Yeah, I don't have too much illustrating skills." I laughed thinking back to my past failed attempts at 'drawing'.
l went to open my door and he grabbed my hand, "No, I do it." he pouted.
He quickly got out and opened my door. He grabbed my hand and helped me out of his car and linked arms.
"Thank you kind sir." I smiled at him.
"No problem, m'lady." he grinned back cheekily.
I laughed and he opened the door, then caught up to me to link arms again.
Jessie was hostess tonight, "Hey Cass!" She waved as we made our way to the podium.
"Hey Jessie." I said and she walked out from the podium and hugged me and I sent her a fake smile.
"Nice catch." She winked at Calum.
"Yeah, my catch." I pulled him tighter, not for her to notice, but just reassurance, "One of the transfers." I told her and he looked at me weirdly.
