"Hey, what took you so long?"

I almost bumped into Chelsea who was wringing her wet hair with a towel beside the long mirror.
Ann was on the bed holding the remote now controlling the TV, but she seemed satisfied with whatever she was watching. Animal Planet, perhaps. Maggie, I presumed, was in the shower since the water was still running and she was nowhere to be seen.

"Sorry, Chelsea. I was just talking with Jordan then the elevator decided to take me to the wrong floor."
I answered while walking past the TV to rest the pizza boxes onto the desk.

"Ooh, what did he get?"
Ann asked hopping off the bed and peering into the first box.

"I don't know."
I lifted the flap as the three of us inhaled the fresh goodness.
"He said it was the best pizza in town."

"Is that all he said?"
Chelsea asked me since she had missed seeing him again.

"Yeah, but he also said that he missed you since I went to grab the pizza instead of you. He seemed quite disappointed, actually."
As I expected, Chelsea just smiled when she began to play with her necklace that I hadn't seen before.
"Did Jordan get that for you?"
I ask while handing Ann some napkins so she could wipe the pizza grease from off her hands.

"Yeah, he did. Today, actually, before we went on the boat ride."
At first mention of the boat ride, Chelsea grew pale, but I wrapped an arm around her shoulder to comfort her.

"Well, it looks lovely on you."
Succeeding in making her feel better, I smiled while handing her a slice of three cheese pizza.
"So enjoy this goodness that Jordan has bought us all."
Smiling, she took a bite before I reached for the second box which was my absolute favorite. Pepperoni. This one though was stuffed crust. Yum!!

"You know what would taste really good with this?"
Chelsea suddenly asked after swallowing a glob of pizza.

"What?"
I ask searching for a napkin.

"Pop?"
Ann's eyes widen as she suddenly stopped chewing her food.

"Yes!!"
Chelsea exclaimed while dropping her pizza on a napkin and reached for Ann's hand.
"Let's go grab some from the vending machine!"

"That's a good idea!"
Ann reached into her bag for some change before they both exited out of the room.

Smiling to myself, I heard the shower water turn off as I begin to feel a small pit in my stomach. I was alone with Maggie. Wait--did the others do that on purpose?

"Chelsea, can you grab my clothes! I forgot them."
Maggie hollered from the bathroom. Spotting her clothes, I walk over to the bathroom and knock to let her know that I was standing there.

"Thank you--"
Maggie stopped halfway once she noticed it was me and not Chelsea.

"Chelsea and Ann went to grab some pop from the vending machine so it's just me."

"Oh--"
Maggie paused.
"Okay."

"Yeah--"
I handed her her clothes with a small smile as I retreated back to the ongoing TV. So Ann was watching Animal Planet just as I thought. Sooner than I expected, Maggie walked out of the bathroom, but headed to the pizza past me. Taking a slice, she tried to eat it and put away her clothes into her suitcase at the same time, but failed so she plopped her clothes on the bed in defeat. I didn't know how awkward this could get until now.
"Are you enjoying the trip?"
I ask trying to make friendly conversation with her.

"It's okay."
Maggie simply answered while hunting for the piece of paper Colin had given with his number on it. Finding it, Maggie seemed to be adding his number into her phone, of course.
