"Jennifer."

Ann nudges me with her elbow as I jolt awake, my eyes fluttering open as my head turns to the right.

"We're here. We just landed in Ontario."

"Okay, cool."
My arms reached towards the ceiling of the plane as I stretched my tense muscles.
"Where's my book?"
I suddenly ask as my arms fall back to my sides quickly.

"On the floor."
Ann pointed towards the floor when she picks it up for me.
"It fell when you decided to doze off." She continued with a small smirk.

"Oh, I must have fallen asleep in between then."
I organize my bag so that the book will fit properly.

"I'm rather surprised since you love that book so much."

I laugh softly,
"You're right about that. I do love it."

"And the characters." Ann added with a giggle.
I chuckled as I nodded,

"Yes, yes, well, I'm sure everyone loves a character once in their entire lives, don't you think?"

"Dunno."
Ann simply said as she shrugged her shoulders.

Rolling my eyes playfully, I turned around and noticed Maggie and Chelsea had their ear buds inside their ears.
I only assumed they were watching something since they looked engrossed into whatever it was.

"I wonder what they're watching."
I tell Ann who turns around curiously as well.

"Well, they weren't always this quiet, but I gave them the death glare earlier."
I just smiled when she continued,
"I bet they're watching Netflix. Hey."
Ann waved her hand in the air to get the girl's attention, but of course, they didn't pay any heed.
Ann shook her head when I kept laughing softly.
"Hey--hello. Hellooo. Are you guys deaf?"

No response.

"Hey!"
Ann finally took drastic measures when she smacked Maggie in the leg causing her to jump as her phone to fly in the air.
Chelsea then shrieks and catches the phone before it could fall to it's ultimate disaster.

"What was that for?"
Maggie asked Ann while almost ripping the ear buds from her ears.

"You didn't answer me."
Ann shrugged her shoulders with her hands up in the air.

"You could have at least tapped me."
Maggie offered, calming down from the incident.

Ann just shrugged, "Nah."
Maggie rolled her eyes just as Chelsea handed Maggie her phone back.
"Watcha watching?" Ann sets her face on the back of the chair.

"You mean what were we watching before you decided to scare us half to death?" Maggie raised her eyebrows.
Ann just merely nodded.

"We were watching Once Upon A Time."
The words fell off Chelsea's lips as if they were the easiest thing in the world to say just like babies usually say dad first in their lives.

A huge smile crept onto my face
"Really? How am I not surprised?"
I leaned forward to see their screens.
"Which episodes?"

"Just old ones."
Maggie answered. "From season four."

I chuckled, "Of course."

"Attention ladies and gentlemen, we have safely arrived to your destination, Ontario, Canada. Please unbuckle your seatbelts and safely remove all of your belongings from the plane. Please be considerate of others and also, watch your step before exiting the aircraft. Thank you for your cooperation and thank you for choosing our airline."

"Come on."
I grabbed my backpack from off the ground and looked at the others.
"Let's go."

The others nodded before following me out of the plane.
Stepping outside, Maggie and Chelsea excitedly surpassed Ann and I. Shrugging, Ann and I both followed them.
We were about to collect our bags when Ann spotted a gift shop not too far away.
"Hey, look a gift shop. Maybe we should all buy some souvenirs or something."

"Good idea!" Chelsea exclaimed.

"Yeah, you two go get our stuff and we'll go see if we can find something."
Maggie suggested while taking Chelsea's arm.

"How about we all go together?" I offered.

"No, just stay here because I don't want our stuff taken." Maggie answered me before she and Chelsea walked off to the gift shop.

"And they left us again."
I muttered under my breath, but Ann heard me.

"They'll be back."
She patted my arm before adjusting her cap again. "Let's go grab our stuff so we can have them ready."

I nodded,
"Okay, good idea."

Gathering our things, we made it back to where we were when Maggie and Chelsea appeared beside us.

"Did you find anything?"
I ask when setting Chelsea's heavy suitcase down on the floor.

"No, we didn't find anything."
Maggie answered reaching for her bag which Ann was carrying.

"How's come?"
Ann asked relieved when Maggie took her bag. It must have been heavy.
"Out of that whole store, you didn't find anything?"

Maggie shrugged her shoulders.
"It was kind of expensive." Chelsea offered looking at Maggie.

"To be honest, it was." Maggie agreed.

"Oh, that's okay."
I answered quickly while watching the two carefully. They seemed to be hiding something, but whatever. They both have kind of been avoiding me anyway so I hope the ice between us will break soon. I don't know how long I can take the tension. They couldn't avoid me forever; I mean, this trip was my idea, but they didn't like the idea very well. I don't blame them, but they didn't have to come. That was on them. They didn't have to come, but they did.

Stepping outside the airport, Maggie called for a taxi since her voice was the loudest out of all of us--which comes in handy sometimes.
Taking our things, the driver returned to his seat before all four of us crammed in the back of the car--which was rather interesting.
Giving the driver the directions where we were going to stay, he began to drive us to our hotel.
