Alli's  POV

It was a Friday afternoon, and I was at the local supermarket because we did not have school today. It had something to do with the water pipes at the school or something, but everyone loved those surprise days where there was no school for whatever reason.

I was in the chips isle shopping for snacks because the boys are coming over tonight. Even though there was no school today, I told them that they still couldn't come over until later, because I wanted a little time to myself, because face it, I probably wouldn't get away from them for the rest of the weekend. I was looking for some Salt and Vinegar Lays chips, when I spotted the last bag on the highest shelf where I couldn't reach them.

I stood on my toes, and tried my hardest to get them, but no matter what I couldn't get them because face it, I was only 5'3.  I was about to go get someone from up front to get them for me, when I saw a hand reach up and grab them, and then hand them to me.

"Thanks." I said, as I looked up to see Ashton standing there smiling down at me.

"Anytime, Alli." he replied.

"So what are you doing here?" I asked.

"Ya know, just shopping like most people do at a supermarket." he said with more sarcasm than I had ever heard him use before.

"You know what I mean." I said as I looked up at him and rolled my eyes.

"We needed milk so my mom made me come and get some."

"And you couldn't just walk?" I asked.

"Hey milk is heavy, and says the one who only lives two blocks away."

"Fair enough."

"So do you want to ride back to my house to drop these off with me, and then maybe we can hang out a little earlier than we had scheduled?" he asked. I nodded and followed him up to the checkout area. We both paid for our things and then headed back outside to his car.

"Shoot Ash, you were supposed to pick up Julianna." I told him."

"Nah, Michael said that he wanted to. I mean Luke probably wanted to, but he cant drive yet." I nodded. Michael and Ashton were the only ones who could drive. I was in the same year as Michael, but I was only sixteen. Luke and Calum were only in year 11.

We dropped off the food that Ashton bought at his house, before going back to mine. Ashton insisted on carrying the food into the house, even though it wasn't heavy at all. My mother had the day off today as well, though I'm not really sure why, so she greeted us as we walked into the kitchen.

"Hello love, Ashton." she said as she smiled at us. She and Ashton had met a few times and the past couple of weeks, along with the rest of the boys since she had been home more, and they had been coming here most of the time lately rather than going to one of their houses. She hasn't met Julianna yet though, because Jules tends to be busy a lot. Luckily, they would probably meet tonight though. My mother approves of all of the boys. After the first night she met them, she said that they were mature and respectful, but now she only says that they are respectful, because well, they just aren't very mature.

"Hello, Holly." Ashton said.

"Hey Mum." I said as she kissed my forehead. "It's still okay if the rest of the boys and Julianna come over later, right." I asked, just to make sure.
