Chapter 7: A Slice of Cara's Life

Cadence POV
  I woke up with my face all wet. I looked at the wetness near my face. I must have cried a lot.
  I decided to believe Bill. I am not calling him father tell I'm sure he actually is.
I went down stairs. My mom still wasn't home. If she was she would be passed out on the couch. If she was here I would totally kill her.
It was 7:00 AM. 2 hours till work. I was going to get Dipper to help me some how.
Then the name Cara entered my mind once more. Then the questions came back. How did mom even meet a dream demon? Why is Cara even in Portland? Why was I not abandoned as well? I mean if she was abandoned. Where is she living? Should I go find her? What should I eat for breakfast? What a second, that's not serious at all. Dang Cadence get your head out of the clouds. I need to focus.

Cara POV
I looked around my bedroom in the attic. I was trying to find Dallas, also known as Dile, short for dilemma. He is a big problem sometimes. Dile was like the younger sibling I never had.
"Dile I'm going to find yo-ah!" I tried to say before my foot fell into a loose floor board.
I knew my foster parents had secrets but did they seriously hide something in the floor board.
"Cara?" I heard Hayden's voice say. Dile had talked him into playing hide and seek as well. He technically threaten us by crying.
I turned bright red. Hayden is super cute. "Can you help me?" I asked. Hayden is about 1 year older than me but he is still pretty strong. He gripped my under arms and pulled me up. I was red the entire time. "Thanks!" I said wiping dust of my skirt. 
I looked at the hole in the floor. "What the-?" I said in amazement. In the floor were a photo and a birth certificate. I picked both of the items. The photo had a family on it. There were two adults and two children.
The woman had chocolate brown hair and blue eyes.
The man had blond hair and... yellow eyes?
The two babies had strands of blond and brown hair. The baby girls were in long white dresses.
The woman had on a short white dress.
The man had on a yellow tux.
The baby in the woman's arms had the name Cadence above it.
The other baby had Cara above it!
At the top it had the words Cipher Family!
I looked at the birth certificate. It spit apart into 2 peaces. One said Cadence Cipher. The other said Cara Cipher!
"What the heck?!" Hayden said.
On the birth certificates it said Mother: Bonnie Hansteen, Father: Bill Cipher. I ran over to my laptop and typed Bonnie Hansteen. It pulled up an article about her life.
A Party Animal: Bonnie Hanson.
Born in Clifton, New Jersey, this woman grew up not seeing her parents a lot. Her parents were addicted to different drugs and were drug dealers. She was eventually abandoned by her parents and found by the fire department when the building she was staying in caught fire. She was put in foster care until she turned 18.
When she was 18 she moved to a small lumber town in Oregon named Gravity Falls. There she found a man by the name of Bill Cipher. They fell in love and married soon after. Then had 2 children, then divorced. Cipher died not long after. His body was never found.
One of Bonnie's children, Cara was lost on her way back to Oregon from California. The young Cara was put into foster care.
She eventually remarried a man named Harold Hanson when her other daughter, Cadence was 5. She then moved to Hollywood. Harold brought with him his son Matthew. Everything was fine with her life until, her daughter's fun summer turned into a nightmare. Her husband had taken Cadence to a concert. He was driving back when in traffic, trying not to kill a jaywalker her turned and fell down a small cliff. Her husband sadly died in the accident and her daughter broke her neck. The doctors say she was lucky to live. She practically ignored her children after that. The when Cadence turned 14 she got a record deal. Bonnie has used most of the money her daughter has earned on bars and clubs. She is now know as Bonnie Hanson one of the craziest party animals alive.
Her daughter, Cadence is know as an amazing Pop Star. Her step son is know as a bad boy, skating and breaking the rules. "My mother needs to be greeted by reality, now leave me alone!" said the 15 year old Cadence Hanson. "I don't really care what she does anymore. She just needs some common sense!" said her 13 year old son Matthew.
Bonnie has been seen with a lot of other men over 1 year. She has nothing serious with anyone of them. Cadence said she also thinks her mother is a 'cruel rat'. She claims that she is also guilty of child abuse. That has still not been determined.
After starring for a while at the screen, I finally ended up ranting.
"I have a sister? We were separated? Hot Belgian Waffles! This is CRAZY!" I screamed. Hayden put his hands on my shoulder. Tears formed in my eyes. He sat me down next to him on my bed.
"Hello? Cara are you up here?" Dile asked shyly. Finally I let all my tears out.
After a while Dile found me. He tried to comfort me along with Hayden. Dile got bored and left to find his parents. He was probably going to tell them everything.
"Look it is going to be alright. Ok?" Hayden said. My tear flow decreased to only a couple of small drops of water. I couldn't calm down all the way.
Hayden made my face look at him. I turned red again and avoided eye contact.
He leaned forward and kissed me. I kissed him back. It was small and sweet. When we parted, we hugged.
"You know what I'm doing right?" I asked him.
"Yes, and I'm behind you all the way," he said.
"Thank you," I whispered.
"For what?" he asked.
"For being nice to me. For being there. For being my friend," I continued.
"I have always loved you," Hayden said. We did shared a kiss again. "I love you too," I said quietly.
