My eyes opened quickly and I immediately noticed that I was nowhere near where I had been before. I was now in a car. Some sort of convertible, and the top was down. I saw Stiles in the front driving the car, which was strange seeing as the only car I could ever imagine Stiles driving is his Jeep. No one was sitting next to him, so why was I sitting in the back alone when I could be up there with him? That was just it, I wasn’t alone. Slowly, I turned my head looking at my fingers which were intertwined with Allison’s. Slowly, my head moved up to look towards her face and that’s when I saw her smile. That perfect smile that I’ll always love. It’s a contagious smile, so much so, that before I knew it, a grin appeared on my face.
I wondered how this was happening and why she was here, with me looking as in love as she had four months ago. Honestly, I didn’t care because she was there with me and that’s all I could ever ask for. So, I sat there, grinning at her as she looked out at the road. The way the wind blew through her hair made her look angelic. Well, more angelic than usual. She must have noticed my eyes locked onto her because she turned to look at me and giggled. The sound of her giggle could break me, and it was breaking me. She leaned over closer to me and gently placed a kiss on my cheek. Immediately, my eyes shut and a shiver ran through my body at the feeling of her soft lips against my cheek. I had missed her so much that it hurt, and now I had her back again.
She didn’t speak, and neither did I. We didn’t speak because we didn’t need to. We could just look at each other and both of us would know that we loved one another. So, I ran my hand through her hair ever so gently and pushed it behind her ear. My hand ran down the back of her neck and I watched as she closed her eyes, smiling. I bit my lip, trying not to grin too much. I didn’t want to scare her off. Something was burning inside me though. I needed something that I hadn’t been able to have for four months. Something that I had missed more than anything in the world. Something that I couldn’t stop myself from doing anymore. It was impossible, literally impossible not to this time and I was sure that she would not oppose.
My hand glided up her neck and along her jawline until it was at her chin, turning her head closer to me. I glanced her a quick smile before slowly leaning in. My lips pressed against hers gently and my hand rested on her cheek. Slowly, my fingers caressed her cheek and her hands rested on my neck. When our lips collided, it felt as if nothing else existed. Just me and her, and that was all that mattered. I would have stayed like that forever but she started to pull back slowly. Before she could pull out of the kiss completely, I planted one more quick kiss on her lips and rested my forehead against hers. She seemed extremely taken back by the kiss and all of my actions, but she was content at the moment. She chuckled quietly and then asked quietly, “Why did you do that?”
That’s when I whispered to her as I gently ran my hand down her cheek, “Because I love you.”
