This will be the 1st chapter of the last two chapters. I know it's short, hence the short story, but the end is near. Just thought I'd let you know. I love you all, fan me if you want :3    ----------- Kaylee.

"Ebony, hey, Ebony, wake up, we're there." Micheal's voice softly came into my head. My eyes fluttered open, my body remembering all the pain. I launched up, clenching my tummy as I coughed up blood. Panicked hands gripped my back as I took in a shaking breath.

"We're there, the police and EMT are already there. You'll live  Ebony!" I smile and slowly reach out to his small face, my hand freezing against his warm skin, "You'll come live with us, right? Be my little brother I never had." He nodded, putting his hand over mine.

His eyes, teared up as he smiled. The old lady parked the car and instantly we were swarmed by people. People with camera's, some cops were trying to push them back, but it didn't work. A woman in a white and blue uniform broke threw the crowd, making her way to the car. When she reached the car she set to checking me out.

She murmured a few things and called for the Gurney. Some men came up, took Micheal over to the Ambulance and set to helping me out of the car. They rushed me into the Ambulance and off they took me, my father sitting next to me, holding my hand.

I glanced around the small area, the sirens squealing. "Dad, I missed you so much." I yawned as they put a plastic thing over my mouth, a rush of oxygen burst into my lungs, causing me to faint. "I thought I was going to die without you Kiddo." Was the last thing I remember of that death defying day.

------------------------------------ Two months later.

My eyes flutter open, the pain now gone, my mind was a bit of a fuzzy cloud. "Ebony!" I was engulfed in a crushing hug by someone. I felt my face redden as I noticed who it was. "Dad! You're...Crushing...me!" He sat back on the side of my bed, his hand messing up my hair.

"Glad you're back home Ebony. I was a mess without you." I smile at him, "How much cleaning do I have to do." He looked shocked that I would ask this right after being kidnapped, beaten, and chained. "Ebony dear, you've been asleep for a little over two months, I've had a maid come and clean, and Micheal has helped out a little, not much. He's been worried sick about you, just like me and the rest of your friends."

"Micheal!" I toss the covers off me and jump out of bed, dashing over to the door way. When I reach it, my right leg gives out and I cling to the door frame. "Micheal!" Dad walked over and put a strong hand on my shoulder, "He's at school, Ebony. He's a little rebellious, but so is my daughter."

I turn my head and look up at him, smiling. "Glad to hear he's doing good. Did they get them both." It had just accrued to me that I haven't been told about my captors, Tom and Dante. "We got him Ebony, you have no need to worry, you're safe." I sigh in relief, and stumble over to the phone, calling Lacey.

She picks up the phone on the second ring, "Has she woken up?" She sounded tired, like she had just woken up. "I don't know Lacey, why don't you come over and see for your self?" I giggle as she screamed the shrillest scream I'd ever heard her scream.

"Ebony, I missed you so much! I'll be over with Alex in, like, two seconds!" She hung up and I slouched against the wall, my brown hair laying around my shoulders. Brown hair huh, that's gonna change. "Dad, run to the store and get me some black hair dye, make it fast...and some scissors!" He ran a hand through his blond hair and looked down at me, "Sure you want to do this?"

I smirk, "Dad, I'm as sure as I possibly could be." He walks threw the dinning room to the kitchen and put some scissors on the counter. He also grabbed the keys off the hook and went out the door. Just as he was going out the door, Alex and Lacey barged in, hugging me. "We were so scared!" They started to sob, so I did too.

"It was the worst experience of my life! You couldn't believe the things they did to me." I started shaking as flashes of the nightmare forced their way into my mind. My hands went up, gripping my head, I started to murmur a few things and Lacey grabbed my arms, shaking me lightly.

"It's alright Ebony, we're here now. You're safe, believe this. We won't ever let anything happen to you." I fell into her arms, her hug as reasuring as a best friends hug could be. "Yea, we won't ever leave your side again. I've even taken up some fighting classes after school. They say I'm a complete natural!" Alex pulled up both into her hug.

"That's great Alex, I can't wait to come watch you fight." We all laughed away our tears for a few seconds, "So, how's Grandpa?" I had to ask, I've also missed him. The room got deathly quiet for a few seconds. "He's had a stroke and is in a coma from the shock right now. They say he won't pull threw, so everyone has said their good-byes. You should too."

I fell to my knee's, "Later, I'll go say my part tomorrow." My night gown flowed as I stood up and went into the kitchen, I picked up the scissors and went down the small hall into the bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror, a determined expression on my face. "Ebony, what are you doing?" Alex came into the bathroom, Lacey stood on the other side of the doorway.

"What's it look like I'm doing, I'm cutting my hair." I went after my hair like it was the devil in disguise, by the time I was finished, it was short, slightly thinner, and my bathroom was full of my hair. "You look great, Ebony!" The front door squeaked open and dad came into the house. He tossed the dye to Lacey and Lacey passed it to Alex, who in turn handed it to me.

I followed the directions and within thirty minutes, my hair was pitch black. "I wonder what everyone at school will say to this tomorrow." Dad came into the bathroom and looked annoyed, "What?"

"Don't think you're going back to school tomorrow! You just woke up!"

"Exactly, I've been sleeping for two months and I've been gone for a long time. I have a lot of catching up to do and I don't want to be held back. I'm going to school tomorrow." He looked at me in defeat, "Fine, but don't over work yourself. I'll get you a note from the doctors to get you out of gym class."

I shook my head and Alex and Lacey sat on the edge of the tub watching. "Nonsense, gym would be good for me. Considering I haven't done anything in a while. Think of it as free physical therapy." I smile at them all and for the rest of the day I was told about everything that had happened while I was gone. I missed a whole lot from what I hear.

I missed an awesome party, and fight in class. I even missed my picture being all over the news, apparently people even set up a thing in the park where you light candles for a missing person. A light to help them find their way home, I guess it worked, considering I'm sitting right here. Still living and breathing the sweet air.

We laughed, we cried, we even dressed Micheal up as a girl for a while. It all came to a sad end when the clock struck twelve and they both had to return home. I got my school stuff together and set it by the door. Dad said night and gave me a kiss on my nose and tucked me into bed.

"Night dad, I love you. Hey, put my gym stuff on the counter next to my bag. I completely forgot all about it." He nodded and turned out the light, leaving the door wide open behind him. I drifted off to sleep, happy I was home and back with my loving friends and family.

This was the best day ever.
