That's nonstop watching it on repeat THREE TIMES!

I cried every single time.

If you haven't seen this movie...

GET THE FRICK ON YOUTUBE AND WATCH IT!

The whole movie is in a single,good quality,one hour and thirty minutes video!

Caution:You will probably cry..Just warning you all..

It's an anime(for all of you prejudice against my beloved anime,.YOU SUCK!But you're still awesome for reading this:3)

It's Studio Ghibli(MAKES IT BETTER:D)

But it has to be the single saddest Ghibli movie ever...

STORY TIME!!:D

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT!!!!GO NO FARTHER UNLESS YOU WANT SPOILED!!!:l

It's set in WWII in Japan.There's a town (one of many) that gets bombed by American planes.A boy named Seita(who I think is 14) and his little sister named Setsuko(who I think is around 3 or 4) lived in that particular town and their house gets burned down in one of the air raids.Their mom ends up getting badly burned and dies,leaving Seita and Setsuko alone(their dad was in the Navy,so he was at war).

They go to live with their aunt for awhile,but she's a jerk faced monster who calls them worthless and treats them like crap..So they go to live in an abandoned shelter in the wilderness..Well,food is scarce at this time,because of the war,so Seita ends up stealing and gets caught and the farmer he stole from beat him up for stealing.

Setsuko eventually starts getting diarrhea and starts to suffer from malnutrition.

Seita goes to the bank to withdraw what money his mother had left behind,and he ends up hearing that every single member of the Navy had been 'sent to the bottom of the ocean' and that's why his dad wouldn't respond to the letters he sent.Seita and Setsuko are now orphans.

Setsuko starts getting more and more sick..Seita leaves Setsuko at their abandoned shelter home to go get food with the money from his mother's account.

When he comes back,Setsuko is hallucinating badly and she is eating a marble(she thought is was candy..).So Seita gives her a piece of some watermelon he bought,in hopes that she'll recover..But he was too late..

Setsuko told him that she liked it and thanked him,but moments later,she fell asleep and,as Seita said,"She never woke up..."

Seita buys a casket and cremates her.In the casket with her,he puts in:Her doll,her hood for her outfit,her purse,and the candy tin that she had throughout the movie.But he takes the tin out and puts it in his pocket,rather than burning it with her.

He puts some of her ashes into the tin and keeps it with him.

Seita died in the train station from malnutrition days later(on September 21,1935).

At the end of the movie,Seita's ghost is on a train with Setsuko's ghost.He tells her that it's,"Time for bed,okay?"

She nods and puts her head on his lap and falls asleep.

IT WAS SOOOO SAD!!!!D: The music was the worst part..It TORE MY HEART OPEN!:( Please,guys..Just go watch this movie.You'll love it.And it will haunt your mind like it does mine!
