The worried faces surrounding me told me that I really had just seen that figure and that I had blacked out. “Are you okay?”, Helena asked, her blue eyes shining with worry. I shakily nodded yes. I sat up, and saw Sam with a very concerned look plastered on his face. “You okay?”, he asked. I nodded. It took me a while to get over my ‘vision’. My parents took me to the hospital, but nothing was wrong. Today was Friday and I had permission to go with Sam, Helena (my best girl friend, and her boyfriend Logan to the movies. I dressed in my favorite blue one-shoulder blouse, jeggings, and wedges. I packed my purse with some lipgloss, gum, my phone and some other miscellaneous items. Logan could drive so he would be taking us in his old Toyota. As the doorbell echoed through the house, I rushed downstairs to see Logan and Helena standing in the door. Helena looked pretty-her hair gracefully flowing down her back in river-lets. She wore a nice light purple blouse, some jean shorts, and flats. Logan grinned. I led them to our living room to wait for Sam. I began to be a little nervous. If we were late, the ushers would not let us in to the premiere of Killerz-the newest and most popular horror show. I had already paid in advance, and paid a lot. We talked casually about school and such, and when the doorbell rang, we were off. Sam called shotgun, and Logan drove as Helena and I sat in the back, chattering on about the movie. As we talked, Logan concentrated on the road, trying to hurry along. The conversation reached a close as we were about to be late, when the world slowed down. Logan ran a red light, and I remember seeing the shocked faces, and I could hear myself screaming with the others. I saw the van coming from the side-Sam’s side, coming towards us. Closer…and closer…
