Chapter 9

"Why didn't you just tell me" Damon cries out.

I woke up in a bed to people arguing. The place was big and vacant, but smelled a lot like Derek so I'm gonna take a big guess saying its Derek's loft. I tried to speak but it came out as a squeaky rasp and my throat hurt immensely, I started to wheeze and cough while I felt someone help me sit up.

"Hey it's ok, don't try to speak yet, I can't believe you would wake up so soon." The person says.

I look up and see the twin brother of the one who was in the fire, Ethan I think. I look up at him and smile softly. He hands me a glass of water and Advil.

"Thank you." I whisper out while taking the pill and swallowing it with the pill.

"No problem, I just wanted to say thank you, for you know, saving my brother." He says while looking at me softly.

" Any good person would do the same thing I did, plus I couldn't let someone die the way...... Ummm t-the way my umm, ha wow I can't seem to." I tried to explain myself, to let him know I did it because no body truly deserves to die by burning in a fire but it I couldn't seem to get it out.

" shhhh it's ok." Ethan said softly while wrapping his arm around me and softly started to cry into his shoulder.

I have no idea what has gotten into me, but honestly with everything that has happened to me so far, this is probably the most human response in return to a traumatizing event.

"If it's not too much my brother would like to speak to you." Ethan says while looking down at me on his shoulder.

"I would very much like that." I say while slowly starting to get up, I seem to lose my balance but he holds my arm up while helping me walk across the cold loft floor to the couch where male me, a.k.a Aiden.

He seems to have woke up before me looking happier than ever once his eyes landed on me. I couldn't help but smile back at him no matter how bad, well everything hurt. I was able to finally walk by myself and I sat down next to Aiden while he sat up.

         "H-hi." He stuttered then cursed at himself for stuttering causing me to giggle. I noticed by his posture and the look on his face before he saw me he has this bad boy act that I see straight through, I honestly think it's adorable hence the reason why I'm looking at him so softly.

       " I just ummmm wanted to say thanks, for everything, I just huh wow sorry I'm usually much more........ Confident." He said while his eyes started to shine red and by instinct my eyes turned blue.

       I quickly looked behind me seeing two people I thought I would never see again.

         Kai Parker and Damon Salvatore

     Both Ethan and Aiden could probably smell my distress from a mile away which is probably the reason why not only Aiden's eyes turned red but also Ethan's. It was like an alpha standoff between the four of them. Which in all honesty made me extremely uncomfortable. Plus being an omega really doesn't help the situation. Aiden got up the best he could since he can heal faster than I can.

     "Who the hell are you guys." Aiden growled out .

      " I could ask the same for you eyebrows "  Kai nearly growled out but was held back by Damon. But once both of their eyes spotted me the only one who looked shocked was Damon while Kai looked relieved.

       "Luna." Damon whispers out in shock, before I could register anything it was like my body had a mind of its own. I got up from the couch, ran and jumped on him.

      He embraced me tightly while I started to cry. He pulled back slightly from the hug and looked at my face.

   "I-i thought you were I thought." He cut himself off.

    " I went back to the orphanage for our monthly talk about, you know everything that has happened so far with Elena . Only to see that you weren't there and then I saw the mess and - and then with the torturing and all the blood I just, I thought you were dead." Damon said while trying hard not to cry ".

" Once I found out about the fact that your best friend is the half brother of the freaking  winchesters, I came here to find out more since this is where Tyler's mom has her second child Lydia I think." Damon says after a long time .

"Why didn't you just tell me, or even call me as soon as you were safe." Damon cries out.

"Well I mean with everything and with finding out about my family and Derek I just.... I didn't have time to think about anything else, todos so sorry." I said while looking down ashamed of myself .

  " your lucky I'm so happy you're still breathing or I would be pretty pissed right now." Damon says with his usually side smirk but with a softer tone to it this time.

I turn back around seeing Ethan smirking amused by the stare down between Kai and Aiden.

   " I met her first." Kai said

   " Well she saved me from a burning building so I'm pretty sure she likes me more." Aiden said pretty smugly

   "Mutt." Kai growled

   "Asshole." Aiden growls right back

"Well it's gonna be a loonggggg day, wait no AIDEN PUT KAI DOWN!!"
