"COCK-A-DOODLE-DOO!" The rooster crows. The human in a snail-themed PJ gets up and yawns, smacking the alarm clock gently with his tiny hands. Frisk wakes Asriel up, who's still dressed in his green and yellow long-sleeve shirt.
"Hey, new brother! Wake up, time for breakfast!" The human shakes Asriel and tugs his shirt.
Finally, the monster groans. "Howdy to you, Frisk..." Asriel yawns.
Toriel opens the door with no creaks. "Good morning, you two!" She greets. She's already all dressed up into her normal Delta Rune gown. "Come, both of you. I made something very new!"

The kitchen is colored purple and yellow. They have normal kitchen furniture like we humans have. There's a table for the family to eat with 5 bar stool type seats, and another table but rectangle-shaped with cushions, like when you sit next to each other on those connected seats on each corner on a restaurant. Frisk and Asriel sat on their chairs for breakfast in front of the white rectangle table. Toriel has her mitts on and serves Frisk and Asriel breakfast.
"Mom, what is this flat food?" Asriel said with a curious look. He touches the food. Feels floppy and hot.
"It's called a pancake, Asriel. Everyday, humans like me who wake up, they eat breakfast, take a shower, hygiene stuff so they're ready to go outside." Frisk explains.
"Wow, I'm so lucky to have a child like you." Toriel said.
"Hmm..." Asriel tastes the pancake. "Plain. Tastes like cake...".
"Is it good though?" Toriel wants to know.
"Sort of..." Asriel said.
Toriel is okay with that, but then notices Frisk not on their seat.
"Frisk...where are you?" Toriel spots Frisk at the pantry. What they have is the syrup and butter on their hands.
"Oh yes, I forgot. Hee hee hee!" Toriel giggles.
"You forgot the toppings, mommy. That makes the pancake taste better!" Frisk walks back to the table and sits.
"Here, pour this on your pancake." Frisk passes the syrup to Asriel after pouring on their pancake. "Thank you." Asriel opens the lid. He slowly squeezes the bottle with one eye open and syrup came out, flowing through the pancake. After, he closes it back.
"Here, Asriel. Spread the butter on the pancake." Frisk passes the butter next to him. Asriel does so, but with a fork. He gave it back to Toriel so she can put it in the pantry. Asriel then starts to take a bite. Sweet and delicious, Asriel feels good.
"Mmmm, your world has good food, Frisk." Asriel's nose scrunches as he eats.
"We have lots of food that taste good. Better than the Underground, to be honest." Frisk said, then shudders about the thought of spider donuts and spider cider. They both ate happily.

"Where's daddy?" Asriel asks after changing his clothes into a new green and yellow long sleeve shirt. "Sweetie, he's at my new school. He's cutting off the leaves right now, but he should be at the office." Toriel answers.
Frisk, now in a new blue and purple shirt, their mouth opens wide open, but you can't tell whether they're shock or about to cry. "Gasp! Mommy, your school's open now?" They said with arms up in the air.
Toriel giggles. "It is open, my dear children. Guess what? You two are almost late! Don't worry I packed some lunch for you!" She smiles.
After, she held up two bags that describes Frisk and Asriel's personality. The first backpack is for Frisk on Toriel's left hand. It's the color indigo, the color when you fight Sans and Papyrus. It shows a big red heart on the center, front and back zipper, a lunch bag inside, and supplies all set. On her right hand is Asriel's backpack. Colored in lime, it's the same style as Frisk's backpack, including the red heart on the center.
"Thanks, mommy! Did you go to the store to buy us these?" Frisk said as they grab their backpack. "Yes, I have. I wasn't tired yet, so I decided to do one step ahead for our first day of school." Toriel smiles, giving the backpack to Asriel. The child and the monster both wore their backpacks. They're ready for school.
"Come now, children. I will lead you to my school. It's not that far." This time, Toriel spreads her arms when she turns around, meaning that Frisk and Asriel have to hold her hands so they don't get lost. So they did and off they go, exiting their house.

Frisk sighs. Their head is hung down. Asriel, though, is just looking at the scenery. He enjoys it.
"Yes, Frisk? What's wrong, dear?" Toriel catches Frisk, who's deprived.
"Sorry, mommy. I just miss my friends. Sans, Papyrus, Undyne, Alphys, even Mettaton..." Frisk confesses, looking up at her with sad eyebrows.
"It's okay, dear..." Toriel said. "...they are also attending this school."
Frisk brightens up. "So i'm able to see them?" Frisk speaks rapidly, eyebrows change to happy. "Everyday, yes." Toriel blushes light pink salmon. "I am your teacher as well." She adds.
Asriel heard what she said and looks up too. "If your the teacher mommy, is this a half day or a full day?" He asks.
"Well, Mrs. Dreemurr says that the first 5 days will be half days. Meaning this, you will all have half days for a week until the next." Toriel proudly answers. "That's a good question, dear."
Asriel smiles back, flusters a bit.
