Mark's Point of View

"Hey, Mark, looks like Jack and your sister are getting along pretty well out there," Bob said. I peeked through the window to make sure Bob wasn't lying, again and sure enough, they were. I quickly walked back to the sliding door and opened it. "Jack, come inside," I motioned for him and he got up, following me into the kitchen.

"What is it Mark?" Jack asked.

"Getting a little too comfy with my sister, huh?"

"What? No. Mark, you know I have a girlfriend already."

"Okay, so stop flirting with my little sister."

"Mark, you're being ridiculous."

"No, I'm watching out for my sister more carefully since mom isn't here."

"Well don't worry dude, I'm not trying to be like that. We were just talking and laughed at a few jokes she and I made."

"Mark, that seems pretty belie--"

"Shut up, Wade."

"Okay."

My Point of View

Mark was taking an awfully long time to come back outside, especially with Jack. So I decided I'd head back inside where everyone was out when I caught the last word spoken: Okay. I cocked my head in confusion at the smiling boys, which raised my suspicion even more. "What're we talkin' about here boys?" I asked, laughing a little. They all did an awkward chuckle and evaded my question. I growled in irritation. They were talking about something. Why can't I know? I thought and shook it off. "Hey, let's go play some games?" Mark asked, raising his eyebrows. Everyone nodded their heads, except me. Normally, I'd be all for the late night video games, but I was just too pissed off and too tired to wanna be around them. The boys took their notice and pouted, well, Mark and Jack did. "C'mon (Y/N), you love late night video games," Mark pouted. I shook my head and said, "Yeah, well, I don't wanna play right now. I'm too tired to kick ass," I laughed quietly. Mark smiled and nodded his head in understandment. "Just c'mon down and grab a controller when you feel like it. We'll be here all night," Mark and the boys chuckled. I nodded and walked upstairs, stopping at the railing. Being the nosy person I am, I decided to listen to any interesting conversations they were planning on talking about.

30 Minutes Later

I've been sitting for almost an hour listening to what I thought was gonna be interesting. I'm going to bed, I thought and got up and headed into my room, carefully closing the door. Hopefully, Mark and them didn't hear my door just now close. I shrugged it off and flopped onto my bed, quickly falling asleep.

Early that Morning

7:00 am, what the hell am I doing up so early? I thought and trudged out of my bed towards my door. Right when I stepped out in the hallway, I was greeted with snoring from downstairs. I smiled and laughed a little, walking down the stairs gently. Just as my foot made contact with the floor, I heard shuffling coming from the living room. Did I wake them up? I thought nervously. I walked closer to the shuffling noise in the living room and saw a groggy Jack wake up from looked like a good sleep. He smiled and whispered, " 'Morning, (Y/N)." I smiled back and waved awkwardly. "Morning," I said shyly. He smiled and walked towards the kitchen, motioning for me to follow along. I shrugged and did.

"Whatcha doing up so early, Jack?" I asked while he put coffee in the coffee pot.

"I dunno, couldn't sleep, I guess," He replied.

"I can see why."

Jack's teeth seemed a bit off this morning, they almost looked stained with something. "Hey, uh, Jack? Can you smile for a minute?" I asked, feeling awkward. He scrunched his eyebrows and smiled again, showing his pink- stained teeth.

"Uh, Jack? Why're your teeth pink?"

"Huh?"

"Your teeth, they're pink."

"Oh, uh, yeah, I must've eaten something to get them that way." He chuckled.

But it wasn't a normal pink; it stood out way more than the actual colour of pink, as if it was almost red. I opened my mouth to say something back, but got interrupted when we heard yawning coming from the other side of the room. "Looks like the sleepy heads are awake," Jack joked as we stepped into the room. The boys looked like a complete mess. Their hair was sticking out all over the place, including Jack's, their clothes were covered in a thousand stains, and they looked just awful. "Holy-- what happened to you guys? You look terrible," I exclaimed. They all peeked at their clothes and went wide-eyed. "Uh.... nothing. We just, uh, ate a shit ton of food and must've not took notice of our mess," Mark lied. I rolled my eyes at him. "I don't believe that for a second, Mark, but okay," I said with annoyance in my voice and walked off.
