That's how they feel? They think all girls go for the Good Guys instead of the Bad Guys? Those two are thinking wrong about me, I thought. Not all girls go for the nice guys. I shoved that thought in the back of my head and peeked outside the room to make sure no one was around and walked out, heading for the stairs. As soon as I stepped foot on the last step, I caught Dark sitting alone on the couch, watching tv. "Hey, uh, Dark?" I asked, stepping closer to him. "Yes, Princess?"
"Where's Anti?"
"Why do you care?"
"I, uh, wanna talk to him."
"Why?"
"JUST WHERE THE FUCK IS HE?!"
"Alright, geez. He's off in the forest or something, I don't know."
"That's all I fucking wanted," I mumbled through clenched teeth and walked straight for the front door. With the doorknob in my hand, ready to be opened, I heard footsteps behind me, coming closer. "Where're you going?" I spun around to meet an arm crossing Dark. "None of your fucking business," I snapped and walked right out the door, not having a care to listen to Dark. The blackened night time sky loomed above, casting only the moonlight to guide me into the forest with a light breeze. I kept walking, in basketball shorts and a tank top, not caring if I was cold, even if I wasn't. Finally, I made it to the edge of the forest and looked ahead, seeing multiple shadows created by the moon's light. "Here goes nothing," I mumbled and walked into the dark and deep shadows, looking for a human figure.
"Anti?" I called out in the dark. Up ahead, there was a tall and slender figure sitting in front of a fire. It looked like him because of the pointy ears, but there was smoke. "Anti?" I called out again. "What?" He snarled, still facing the fire when I got closer to him.
"What the hell are you doing out here?" I asked and sat on the other side of the fire.
"That's none of your concern, Miss Attitude."
"If it wasn't my concern, I wouldn't have been out here looking for your dumbass."
He was smoking what smelled to be Marijuana. It didn't bother me much, so I ignored the smell drifting my way.
"Watch it, bitch."
"No, I came out here to fucking look for you because I was fucking concerned about your god damn stupid ass."
"You didn't have to."
"But I did."
"Why?" He took a puff of his joint.
"I just fucking said."
"No, ya fuckin' moron. Why were you concerned for me?"
"I--" I couldn't exactly figure out.
He looked at me, waiting for an answer. When he didn't get one, another puff was taken. "I heard you and Dark talking earlier outside my door," I blurted out. Suddenly, I could see his Septic eyes go wide and he choked on smoke. "You what?" He asked, waiting for me to correct my response. "I heard it all, Mister Antisepticeye," I smirked. He scoffed and kept smoking, not saying a word. "Oh, before I go," I started, "Just know, not all of us girls go for the Good Guys. Some of us like ones like you." And I began my walk home, not giving him a chance to reply, but just sit there and think.
The Next Morning
"10:00 am," I muttered and arose from the King's size bed, looking around the brightly lit room as a habit. Once I did that, I got out of the bed, stretched, yawned, and began my walk downstairs. My stomach growled, startling me. So, I went into the kitchen and searched for something to eat. "(Y/N)," Someone scoffed. I turned my head to see Dark, leaning against the kitchen doorway, shirtless and crossing his arms. "The fuck did you say to Anti last night?"
"Nothing," I lied.
" "Nothing"," He mocked my voice and did air quotes.
"I didn't!" I lied again.
"Bullshit you didn't. What did you say to him?"
"I just said that I overheard your guys' conversation yesterday outside my door."
"...You heard that?"
"Almost every word, Darkidoom."
"Don't call me that."
"Sure thing, Darkidoom," I smiled and walked out, having no luck to find anything interesting to eat. "Why are you such a bitch?" Dark yelled after me, following close behind. I spun around and crossed my arms, glaring at him. "Excuse me?" I was giving him a second chance to take back his words. "I said why are you such a bitch?" He repeated, not taking anything back. I growled at him and walked off into my room.
I miss home. Why can't I just leave this fucking place?! I can't take it anymore, I thought and broke down my tough wall, crying and sliding down the door.
Dark's Point of View
I stood outside (Y/N)'s door, listening to everything she was thinking. She knows why she can't leave, and why she can't go home. "(Y/N)... open your fucking door... please," I said through gritted teeth. "No! Go away!" She screamed on the other side. I sighed and walked away, knowing she needed time to recollect her thoughts and calm down. Fine, I don't have time for your petty bullshit, I gotta go find my best friend.
