To the Cave

So,as it turns out,Eggman used the King's ring in a machine. The machine showed Eggman the 'diamond in the rough'. The 'diamond in the rough' was revealed to be none other than Sonic. So,Eggman sent out the guards to throw Sonic in jail.

"Eggman!"

Eggman jumped in surprise. Shadow was trying to get through the door,but Eggman kicked the door in Shadow's face.

"Uh,yes Princess Amy?"

"Guards came and took away a creature under your orders! Explain!"

Eggman panicked a bit,but he quickly came up with an excuse.

"But,princess,the boy was a criminal."

"And what was his crime?"

"Why,kidnapping the princess,of course."

"I wasn't kidnapped! I ran away!"

Eggman then acted like he was regretful or sad.

"Oh. Oh,dear."

"What?"

"The boy's sentence is already being put out."

"What is his sentence?"

"Death."

Amy covered her mouth. She couldn't believe it. Amy ran all the way to her room. Blaze was there,waiting for her. Amy threw herself onto her bed. She started tearing up.

"Oh,Blaze! I didn't even learn his name!"

Meanwhile,Eggman disguised himself as a old (or older ) man and snuck into the jail. There was Sonic,his hands and feet chained up. He struggled to get free.

"I can't believe it. She was the princess. I must have sounded so stupid to her!"

As Sonic struggled some more,he heard noises. He looked up.

"Tails! Down here!"

Tails went down into the jail cell.

"Now get me out of these."

Tails did so. As Sonic was getting out of the chains,Tails immatated Amy and did a slice of the throat right after.

"Tails,she was in trouble. And she was worth it. But don't worry,Tails. I'll never see her again. Remember? There's a law. She's got to marry a prince. And she deserves a prince. Ugh,I'm a fool."

Then Eggman,disguised as an old man,revealed himself. Eggman talked differently and everything.

"Like her?"

Sonic turned to face the disguised Eggman.

"Who are you?"

"Just a lonely prisoner,like yourself. But perhaps we could be more."

The disguised Eggman made a money picture in the dirt floor of the prison. Sonic perked up.

"I'm listening."

"There is a cave,boy. A Cave of Wonders. It's full of treasures beyond your wildest dreams."

Tails sighed thinking of all that money. The disguised Eggman continued talking.

"Treasure enough that it'll impress even your princess,I'd bet."

Shadow was hiding in the darkness. He whispered,

"Eggman,hurry up. I'm getting bored over here!"

"Quiet!"

Sonic spoke up,after thinking for a little bit.

"But the law says only a prince-"

"My boy,whoever has all the gold makes the rules."

The disguised Eggman smiled widely and laughed wickedly. Sonic,once again,spoke up.

"But why would you share all this wonderful treasure with me?"

"Because,only one with a...uh...fast feet can go there."

Sonic was confused for a bit.

"One problem. It's out there. We're in here."

The disguised Eggman took his cane and slide the stone wall.

"Things aren't always what they seem."

Sonic's eyes widened. There was an exit right there in the jail cell. The disguised Eggman put out his hand.

"Well...do we have a deal?"

Sonic looked at Tails,who looked back and shrugged. Sonic turned back to face the disguised Eggman and nodded.
