Prince Sony

(Get it?!)

Eggman grinned as he entered the King's throne room. He had a plan to become king. He stomped into the room.

"My lord! Look what I have found."

"What?"

"This says that if the princess hasn't chosen a suitor by the time,then she must wed..."

"Who?!"

"Me..."

"But...you're so old."

Eggman started to close in on the king.

"The princess will marry me!"

"The princess will...."

Suddenly,music sounded through the castle. The King jumped out of his throne and headed to the balcony.

"Eggman,do you hear that? A new suitor is arriving!"

On the streets of the kingdom,Knuckles,disguised as a normal echidna,led a parade to the castle. He sang,

"Make way for Prince Sony! Say "Hey! It's Prince Sony! Hey clear the way in the old bazzar! Hey you! Let us through! It's a bright new star! Oh come be the first on the block to meet his eye! Make way! Here he comes! Ring bells! Bang the drums! Ah! You're gonna love this guy! Prince Sony,fabulous he,Sony Abawa. Genuflect,show some rrspect,down on one knee! Now try your best to stay calm! Brush up your Sunday salaam. Then come and meet his spectacular corterie! Prince Sony,mighty is he,Sony Abawa. Strong as ten regular men defintely! He faced the galloping hordes! A hundred bad guys with swords! Who sent those goons to their lords? Why,Prince Sony!"

Amy,too,heard the music and was watching from her window. She rolled her eyes at the thought of another conceited prince,but continued watching.

"He's got seventy-five golden camels! Purple peacocks,he's got fifty-three. When it comes to exotic type mammels,he's got a zoo,I'm telling you! It's a world class menagerie! Prince Sony,handsome is he,Sony Abawa. That physique! How can I speak? Weak at the knee. We'll get out on that square! Adjust your veil and prepare! To gawk and grovel and stare at Prince Sony! He has ninety-five white Persian monkeys! And to view them he charges no fee! He's got slaves and servants and flunkies proud to work for him! Bow at his whim! Love serving him! They're just lousy with loyalty to Sony! Prince Sony! Prince Sony,glamorous he,Sony Abawa. Heard your princess was a lovely sight to see! And that,good people is why he got dolled up and stopped by!"

Amy stomped all the back to her bedroom. This one was like every other obe. Just wants her for the title of king and her looks. Meanwhile,Knuckles continued to sing.

"With sixty elephants,lamas galore! With his bears and lions a brass band and more! With forty fakirs,his cooks and bakers and birds that warble on key! Make way for Prince Sony!"

The King clapped and ran to the entrance of the palace. Sonic,or should we say,Prince Sony walked in. Amy also went down.

"Bravo! Bravo!" The King clapped. "Prince Sony!"

"My pleasure. I have journeyed from afar for your daughter's hand."

"I'm so happy to meet you! So is Eggman."

"Yes," Eggman said,with an obvious frown on his face. "So very happy. Prince Sony,where'd you say you came from again?"

"Uh," Sonic started. "Much farther than you've ever been,I'm sure."

"Try me."

There was a long silence. Eggman started again.

"I'm sure you're not any different than all the others."

"Sir,I am Prince Sony. Let her meet me! I can win her!"

"How dare you!" Amy screamed. Everyone stared at her. "All of you! Choosing my future! I'm not some prize to be won!"

Amy stomped off,leaving Sonic in the room with the King and Eggman.
