Touka had texted you that she was at the coffee shop and Kaneki just walked in the door. You wished her luck and told her to put her phone away. You sat down on the couch with Ayato and Hide, sighing.

"So Touka's going to do it?" Ayato asked, after you explained the situation.

"Yeah, I hope she's going to have luck with Kaneki." You replied.

Hide made a guilty face behind Ayato's back and you frowned at him. "Me too." Hide added, not sounding very convincing as he hung his head.

Before you knew it, a few hours had passed and Touka would be home soon. You saw her car pull up, Kaneki's car not too far behind her.

You cheered and left your perch at the window sill to hoot and cheer loudly. Then your yells fell silent when you saw the murderous look on Touka's face. On no, maybe Kaneki rejected her harshly.

"Welcome home Tou-" You started, pulling open the door before she had even knocked on the door or rang the doorbell.

You barely dodged the first blow. You backed away from her as she kicked and punched in your direction. "Touka." You stated, her reply was a punch towards your face. "Touka." You said calmly again, which made her kick towards your ankle. "Touka!" You raised your voice but she didn't even pause before trying to hurt you in some way.

You hadn't been in the ring or even in a fight in years. The adrenaline that you used to live for, made you sick now. You held your breath for a split second to hold the pain and memories in. You let out the breath and remembered every skill that you learned in the ring... and on the streets.

Out of the corner of your eye you say Hide try to stop Touka by going in-between the two of you. You saw her turn her anger onto him. Hide. The one who would never hurt anything or anyone. Your confusion turned into anger. You had dodged Touka's blows the whole time but now you had to act quickly or Hide would get hurt.

She rushed Hide, ready to throw more blows. In retaliation, you grabbed her foot and twisted her around. Then you kicked out her other ankle, making her fall to the floor. You made sure to make your blows light in order not to hurt her, she was your friend no matter what she did.

Thinking that she was done, you let her up and you noticed tears streaming down her face. She attacked again and again and so you just blocked and dodged, blocked and dodged. You felt sick. You were fighting your good childhood friend.

You barely registered talking in the background with a new voice joining in. It had only been a couple minutes but you didn't want to fight anymore, the old memories were barely suppressed.

You had to finish this now.

She came towards you and you struck. In a blink of an eye, you spun her around and shoved her face first into the wall. You had her wrist above her head and pressed against the wall, tightly held by your right hand. Your left elbow was shoved hard into the sensitive part of her back between the shoulder blades so she couldn't move. She struggled but you pushed her harder against the wall.

"Touka! Enough!" A voice exclaimed sharply. Touka stopped struggling immediately, going limp and not fighting you anymore. You still kept her pinned just incase she was faking.

The last time that you had made the mistake of letting an opponent fake you out, you had paid for it dearly. You would've gotten a broken nose if you didn't have good reflexes, and you still ended up with a gash on your cheek. You shook your head to clear the thoughts again, as you felt a headache forming.

You realized the voice that had spoken was Kaneki's. You took your eyes away from Touka and saw him looking angry. You let Touka go and backed up from her quickly.
