----------------------

I was cleaning the mini kitchen when Baekhyun called for me. He signaled me to come to him. He was working with his laptop on his favourite couch.

"Ne." I answered and walked towards him.

He didn't say anything since the incident at the training hall yesterday. I didn't know how to explain it so I guess I should just keep quiet. He didn't mention it anyway.

I stood in front of Baekhyun and he lifted his head to look at me. Then he looked back at his laptop.

"I want you to make invitations for the ball." He said, his eyes still glued on the screen.

Meanwhile I, on the other hand, frowned in confusion. "What ball?"

"Our family's annual masquerade ball." He replied.

Okay... It's a ball with everyone wearing masks, with feathers or pearls or whatever they like.

"You're going to make invitations with Tae Hyung and some other boys. He'll explained to you about your part so I hope you'll do it right."

"When's the ball?"

"The night after tomorrow."

"Oh? Hmm. Okay."

Baekhyun nodded. His lips not forming any curve except for a straight line. "Alright then, you should go now. Tae Hyung will be waiting for you downstairs."

"Ne." I said and turned around to leave him. Just then, I remembered something and turned back at him.

Baekhyun was staring at his laptop and then he noticed that I wasn't moving. He raised his head and looked at me with his eyebrows up.

"Wae?"

I bit my lips. "I have something to ask you."

"Yes?"

"Did you apologized to Tae Hyung?" I asked.

I could see his face expression changing, as if he was feeling weird about my question. "Apologize to him?"

"Ne. You slapped him, remember?"

"And why am I the one apologizing? He made the mistake." He looked away, and I could sense this furious tone rising up in his voice.
.

"Even so, you shouldn't have slapped him." I prostested. "You should've slapped me instead. I was in your mother's room."

Baekhyun instantly stood up. His eyes stared right into mine. "Who told you it was my mother's room?"

"Doesn't everyone knows that?" I asked him back, still being firm.

"Did Tae Hyung told you that?"

"No. I found out myself. You don't have to be that sensitive about it. You already gave me permission to sleep there."

Baekhyun widened his eyes. I gave him a serious look, because I'm not joking either. He balled his fists and looked away. "Get out."

"But-"

"GET OUT THIS INSTANT!" He scolded. I was taken aback by his action but then I curved a smile.

"Ne." I answered and left him. I arrived at the door and opened it. But before I step out, I turned around for the last time.

"You should really learn how to apologize. Anger won't solve anything." I said with his back facing my direction. He didn't react to my words. I decided to leave him and walked off.

I never thought I would say that to Baekhyun but it's true. I've been living with the word 'I'm sorry' and 'forgive me' for years and he couldn't even say that after hurting Tae Hyung. He didn't apologized to me for my head injury too. It's like he couldn't say it out.
